I'm very concerned that I haven't seen the worst yet. I have a hard lump below my glans, which i believe is causing the lack of sensitivity in  my glans. It's very tender and painful to the touch especially when erect.

Just a bit upset I thought I was through the changes guess not... but I'll try not to think about it and hopefully it goes away. After all that is about all you can do. Not sure how new it is. I recongnized this a little bit today was the most I have ever felt.  no injury that I know of

Hey man I know this sucks but I like how you're keeping a positive mindset about it! That's the most important thing. Not sure what your treatments are but if you do traction or VED just continue that and hope for the best. I hope it's nothing big deal and it passes! My messages are always open if needed

Saw Urologist at USC who handles Peyronies alot and he does not believe I have it. Symptoms: soreness in flaccid state, glands do not engorge, 2 very small. indents, slight girth loss( last 2 might be mental),ED for 2.5 years

I would recommend to see an urologist and do an ultrasound.
Nodules can be different things, among this it could be a dense peyronie's plaque, but it could be something else as well. It is worth checking if you can.

Thanks maybe it's the vocab I choose, but it feels very much like a plaque. I have a big lump of scar tissue on my arm that formed formed after a hematoma. I wonder if I could get a xiaflex shot there to see how I react to it.
What's the doffeeence between a plaque and a nodule?

Yes some people use plaque and nodule interchangeably. However, a plaque is something which develops thiner and oftentimes it covers more surface than a nodule. A nodule is more localized, generally thicker than a plaque, it feels harder when you touch it and it is generally more voluminous. Peyronie can develop both as nodules and plaques and both can be treated with Xiaflex injection. So yes, do see a doctor and ask him if you can do injections.

Good luck!

Personally I'm not interested in injections I don't think. At this point I'm leaning towards an implant I don't want to risk further injury or incur more cost unless it is garunteed. I was waiting but now I think it's time to move forward in the process before it's too late. But who knows I will make another appointment to go visit doctor eid

If you are leaning towards an implant then Dr Eid is the one to see.

Yeah I am it's just a hard decision to make. The hardest part is I want a clear answer on where my pain is coming from. Dr Trost doesn't think my pain is peyronies because I have pain that shoots down my leg which is more like siatica but I've heard many on the forum with this same problem.   I'm going to see a nerve doc I finally got a referral to go see. Hopefully he clears things up a bit but if he doesn't think it's nerve pain and it's peyornies related pain I'm feeling then  I will then go further in my process with dr. Eid.

Update: I have an appointment this Friday 8/12 with a Neurosurgeon who found missed slipped discs in both of my parents and was able to resolve them. I hope to find a reason for the pain I have that radiates in my leg. I'm guessing they will not and I have peyronies pain that happens to radiate to leg and that symptom is just undocumented like much of the disease.

Regardless I am happy to see the doc because it brings me closer to a resolution either by eliminating something that is not or finding the problem. I will update after this

Hi all sorry it has been a while, an update I am getting an mri to look for a lumbar that is being compressed to see if my pain stems from nerve pain in my lower back. I was told by doctor troast that referred pain (pain that radiates from somewhere else ) is not a symptom of peyronies.

So hopefully they find something that is compressed and can fix it. I'm guessing that will not be the case. However this is important to rule out I will keep the group updated. My scan happens on October 1st

Referred pain is very real and mysterious in finding the location of the actual injury. My wife had referred pain related to her broken pelvis.

That is my opinion too I see how it could be plossible to have referred pain. however, there was never any big injury no black and blue or swelling. I just started having pain I chalk it up to an injury because nothing else makes sense.

Dr. troast is the doc who told me peyronies isn't associated with radiating pain (or referred pain ) I'm getting this scan to make sure I don't have back problems or other compressed nerves that may be causing this(I doubt it) but it's worth a shot. If this doesn't work I will go to a nurologist and talk  to see if there could be any other possible reason for my continued pain which radiates to my leg from my penis.

If no one can find any other solution I will be getting an implant in hopes that it A fixes my pain B fixes my dent or at least instability, and c fixes my mild Erectile Dysfunction

The pain likely contributes to my Erectile Dysfunction as if everything felt good I don't think I'd have Erectile Dysfunction as bad. But the instability seems to always be present. But lately I've been going crazy and I'd do anything to get my sex life back so this is just the start. It's been a long road and I'm only getting older. I can't just live my sex life in stand by in my late 20's when I finally got a career off the ground.

My gf is on the fence about staying with me because she wants more intimacy I want more intimacy too I don't have many other routes to try.

If I could just cure the pain I wouldn't haven't told worry about this other stuff as much but I can't get it to go away.  I just wish it was black and white but it's not here's what I know so far

1. Doctor troast says referred pain isn't related to peyornies and is more likely a lower back problem or nerve problem

2. Doctor Eid says an implant he doesn't know why eids patients of peyronies pain(he's unsure why but usually results in this)

So I'm my mind get back scan, get nerve testing, neither of those help get implant

Hello curvekiller i have been following your posts for a while, i know that you too have flaccid chronic pain. But its my first time noticing you too have radiating pain in a leg. A single leg?

Yes, welcome to the club, of the strangest symptoms too, i think we two are close to the only members in the club, i chatted with 2 more about it too i think.

I have done a lower back MRT with no outcome, but it was almost  4 years ago (yes i have this disease for very long) and i will demand another one. I will also try a MR Neurogram, that can see nerves in the MRI. Problem is, its all so time, and energy consuming. Always an inner strugge to call another doctor, talk with another person about your very private penis problems, having hope, getting disappointed again. I think you can relate?

Well, anyways, please keep me updatet about your MRI on Oct. 01, i am interested. I know this feeling too of hoping you actually have a disease, the doctor actually says " Ah yeah here is a problem". Because that would mean they could do something, but expect to be told you are healthy and fine again. Damn.

EDIT: Not sure how i forgot to mention: I also had a Pelvic MRI quite recently ( 2 months ago). Results: None of course. All "good".
26y, injured at 21 :/

Reinjured late 2019 when having sex with weak errection.
No curvature, but rotation of the base to the left about 30degrees
Main problem: chronic flaccid pain.

Trying different stuff now

Unfortunately I'm very used to no one knowing why. All of my life I have gotten sick and bad things most others do not everytime it's bad luck. So I'm guessing that's probably what this will be, but I still have hope that one day someone will find the impossible or something like that. I don't hold my breath though that is for sure.

Lately I have been able to feel my plaques so I at least know I have peyronies, however mo one really knows what that means so I'll likely get sn implant and still have pain. But I think if I go that far and exhaust every option I will still be happy knowing that I tried everything I can and at least I have an iron dick now that will never get peyornies

Exhausted I am that's for sure. I'm running off of adderall, pain pills, weed, and caffine and frankly idk what I feel anymore lol. I'm sorry you're going through it too man it sucks, but there will be better days eventually we just need to find the right path. Keep your chin up you have a long life as do I I'm priaying for a miracle

I sent a very detailed letter to the spine clinic explaining the importance of this scan. I also bright up to please double check after radiology, because in the past I have had experiences where radiology misses things. Both my parents suffered from terrible back pain until going to this specific dr. In mke, wi. His name is dr. Wolfla at the Froedtert hospital spine clinic. If they find anything I will let you know. But again I doubt they will just like orriw is saying. However I still give it a 25% chance they find something just because my parents had so many missed results

Yesterday I had the scan and today I read the results from radiology. Most notable was on the cover that read no significant finding. However, I'm not sure what their definition of significance is at the bottom of the report it Read:

1. There are degenerative changes of the lower lumbar spine
as above. Radiographically, the most prominent findings
occur within the right, distal neural foramina at L5-S1.
There is a partially calcified posterior disc protrusion
that is creating moderate left neural foraminal narrowing.

2. With respect to left-sided pain, there is mild left
neural foraminal narrowing at L4-L5.

Not sure what any of that means I'm sure I'll hear from the spine clinic soon. If there's one thing I know calcification is never ideal

I guess I read into the results a bit much.

From the pa
Curvekiller,

I reviewed your recent MRI. Your lumbar spine looks good.  I do not appreciate any lumbar pathology to explain your symptoms.  Your spinal canal and neural foramen are wide open. Good news is that you do not require neurosurgery.  Bad news is that I do not have a cause for your symptoms.

Please reach out to me if you would like to discuss further.

I know for me that I use to have severe mid back pain which was manged through narcotics for 7 years. I became physically/emotionally addicted and had to go through detox and withdrawals. I then heard from my one physician that narcs are famous for actually increasing pain. So I actually quit everything and started on a back building weightlifting program that after about a year actually helped and I don't need painkillers anymore.

Yeah I just wish I could get some good news for once lol. "No this isn't the problem but it seems like you have a moderate other problem" was not the answer I wasn't hoping for another life long annoying illness that won't kill me. It's just a lot epilepsy, ibs, stenosis, psoriasis, potentially arthritis. I feel very very old and I'm 28 it's hard to overcome.  I try to count the things I'm happy for. I'm hoping I can make it to being rich so I can just relax being alive is taxing for me. It cost me 130k/year just for my arthritis medications. I just wish I could get rid of the dick pain. My body hurts head to toe and none of it is that bad but it's all constant stuff. I'm sorry for venting things have been really rough lately. My gf and I broke up and she preiviosuly helped me overcome a lot. It's hard but I will be okay. If I could only solve one of my problems I'd be beyond happy. My mental health is depleting. Insurance fibers some but a lot it doesn't cover.

I started as a ups driver lost my job to seizures(couldn't drive commercially), wanted to be a boxer was very good (shoulder gave out doc said calcification of a 70+ year old @25), wanted to be an electrician (my knees were swelling and needing to be drained,) started being an engineer get peyronies then stenosis probably arthritis(my brother and sister have Arthritis) . I tried to switch paths to avoid things, but sometimes it's too late and possibly unavoidable.
