Good afternoon.

My name is Matt.

I am new today.

I have been diagnosed with early stages of peyronies last year.  Urologist said he could need feel the plaque,  but I definitely can now.
This was around August last year.
He said to use the wait and see approach.

I have tried Tadafil with somaerect VED, with limited success. Firstly being, the medication makes me feel anxious taking it. I get horrible side effects, and secondly the VED seems to cause side effects.
I am very new to it, and Darren with the supplier has been very helpful. However, I use the device for 10 minutes, with 3 seconds between pumps and seem to get significant pain in my testicles for days after. It does also feel like my plaque has actually got worse since using I.
Is this possible, as like I say, I am now to forum.
Any advice woukd be appreciated.
My skin is so loose now and girth has becoming very notice with how much it has changed.
39 Yr old male. Plaque curvature at 25° last October. VED somaerect, progressively getting worse.

Welcome Patience39 to the forum!  First time posters are asked to please fill in your signature line -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,10819.0.html . This gives other members a quick glance regarding your situation and will facilitate a better response to your question.  Then you should download and read our survival guide --> https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057  . This will educate you on peyronies and it's different approaches for treatments .

Remember many urologists are not very educated or experienced about peyronies and many will use the  "wait and see approach". You may want to look into getting into a Dr that is a specialist regarding peyronies if that is possible.  What strength of tadadafill are you taking and are you taking it with food?  Tadalafil  canbe very healing to the penis if you are able to take it . You may want to try a lower dose and possibly before bedtime?  Read up here about our protocol on using a VED.   You may just need to get used to it. Remember that in the beginning of peyronies it is called the acute stage. This is where plaques are forming and changes to the penis are occurring accompanied with pain and possibly erection problems etc... It can be confusing at times if treatments are helping or not.

You must remember this disease does not go away overnight and you must look at it with a long term approach for healing. Read up about traction therapy and how it can help in preventing shortening of the penis and possibly restoring lost length. It can also help with erections too.  The Restorex and the Penimaster Pro are the two ones used most frequently here. Also the creator and inventor of the Restorex , Dr Trost is an active forum Moderator here who answers members questions.

Educating yourself now about this terrible disease will help you in the long run.  Also keep your emotions in perspective regarding all of this.  We have all gone down the "worry and despair" path about this disease.  It will consume your thinking and if you don't get control over it now you could end up with a lot of anxiety.
A side note: Your name reminds me of my only brother I lost 34 years ago. You are in a good place being here.    :)  Mike

Hello Patience39,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience.  Personally I have not used a VED device so I can't speak from experience, but my understanding is that for Peyronie's patients, the device is used to suck the dent outward much like a dent puller in an auto body shop.  It's meant to help loosen any blockage and increase blood circulation so the natural erectile function can overcome the rigidity caused by the plaque.  If this is somehow causing pain to your testicles which last for days, you are definitely doing something wrong.  This is not meant to happen!  Is it possible that you are applying suction imprecisely to a sub-optimal part of your anatomy?

In the same way, Tadalafil is formulated to increase blood flow to the penis.  In some people the increase in blood flow is strong enough that the plaque is overcome partially, or perhaps even washed away.  I am not a pharmacologist or a doctor, but I can see no reason why Tadalafil should cause testicular pain.   There are well-documented side effects that some people suffer:  flushes of the skin, or back pain the next day for example, but I haven't read anything about ball pain.

Finally, if your skin is loose, I wonder if you are using too much suction with the VED pump.  Whatever the supplier says, I suggest you speak with your urologist.
Also, please add details of your Peyronies Disease in the profile, like others do:  no names or specific places, but include things like when you got Peyronies Disease, symptoms such as the degree of your bend or hourglassing etc., treatment you are taking, does it work or not, and any other info related to your Peyronies Disease that you want to have in there.

p.s. we don't use our real names on this forum
