Just had plication with Dr. Levine to correct 60 degree down and to the left curve. Surgery was a success according to him. Guess time will tell. Will keep you all updated and maybe post pictures eventually. I want to be an advocate for people with this in the future. This journey is emotionally draining. We can beat it.

Little background. I am in my late 20's, work in the medical field, and living with Peyronies Disease for about 7-8 years with a 30 degree down and to the left curve after injury during sex with my partner and eventually became 60 degree down and to the left from a botched stem cell operation.

I tried tons of non-surgical treatments. Traction with penimaster pro didn't work. Pentoxifylline + Cialis didn't work. Supplements didn't work. I tried everything, heat therapy, LED, changing my diet. So many hours wasted.

I saw all of the best specialists in the US: Dr. Lue, Dr. Gelman, Dr. Levine, etc... They all pretty much recommended surgery, but I was too scared to do it. So I resorted to a stem cell operation to see if that could work before surgery. Little did I know that would be a decision I would regret for the rest of my life. Shelled out 9k to a urologist who promised the world, yet significantly hurt me and damaged my penis much more. I went from about 30 degree curve to 60 degress + some torsion from him and was left in depression. He tried to BS his way out of it by making up these weird excuses such as "the plaque dissolved its normal". All of the other urologists I saw were shaking their head in disgust when they found out what happened and found extra scar tissue.

Anyways, 3 years later, I decided to go through with the Tunica Albuginea Plication (TAP) procedure. After studying it more, I realized it's not as invasive as it looks, as it is just the outside of the penis being operated on (the tunica albuginea) and not the corpus cavernous (which was damaged during my stem cell operation and why I highly recommend against this).

I am just one case, but I hope that I can provide good information for people considering this operation. I know how scary and depressing this road is. But we can beat it. There are options out there. Just stick to the good doctors and don't make the mistake I did with my stem cell operation.

Day 1 Update: 12 hours post-surgery and pain went from a 7/10 right after surgery to maybe 2/10 now. So if youre worried of pain, its not bad at all (If you are having TAP procedure). Makes sense I guess since the corpus cavernosum isn't operated on, its just the tunica albuginea which has less nerves and vessels.

Hey Ruff, likewise Dr Levine is my uro, I had incision/grafting/implant with him last year after a failed procedure with a Dr in Michigan.  So far so good.  I like Dr Levine a lot and would recommend him to anyone for Peyronie's issues.  Good luck in your recovery.

Please keep us updated.  I am considering surgery, and trying to decide if I should or no.  I have a 40-45 degree curve currently.  I am worried I might lose length and sensation.  Also, any surgery seems scary.

Hard to tell so far since I am just 1 week post op. I had 60 degree curve. Prior I was 6.5 inches. Looks like now I am 6 inches at the very least. So only 0.5 inch lost at most.

I was also worried about losing sensation. So far, I haven't felt a loss in sensation. And I am just 1 week post op. I was told it could take months before all my sensation comes back but I don't feel any loss currently.

Day 3 Update: (I posted this update in the FB group but forgot to post it here. Also I highly recommend anyone joining the FB group!!)

Took dressing off finally on the night of day 2. Easier to urinate now. First painful morning erection. Pain was only around the suture area where degloving occurred. Not where the plication occurred at the shaft. But the pain medication was enough to allow me to sleep.

Week 1 Update:

So far so good. I have partial erections now and it looks like I am straight! Hard to tell because I am not having 100% full erections yet due to the 7/10 pain around the incision area with erections but little to no pain on the shaft which is great. I am applying Bactericide everyday as per the post op care plan.

If anyone wants a copy of the post op care plan I can send it to them. The doctor said the pain should go away within a few weeks to a few months. The pain is already starting to get better with each day. Something that I have been also doing is wearing gauze each day as it takes the discomfort of the incision sutures away. Also, I got calvin klein jockey style underwear and it is so helpful as it provides better support to help reduce swelling.

Before surgery, I was 6.5 inches. After surgery, it looks like am 6 inches at the very least. So it doesn't look like I have lost too much length.

Also, I was uncircumcised before so I had to have a circumcision with this surgery and the area where I had the circumcision (under the glands) is still swollen but with no discoloration. Dr. Levine's fellow said it could be swollen for few weeks to months (in very rare cases forever but thats extremely rare). However, all the bruising and swelling on the shaft and scrotal area has gone away.

One of my biggest worries was losing sensation and so far I have not felt any loss in sensation which is really relieving.

I noticed a small painful abrasion on the top of my shaft. The fellow said thats very odd and usually doesnt happen. I am applying polysporn on it everyday. It seems to be getting better and I am not too worried.

It's been difficult not being able to have sex as I have to wait 4-6 weeks for that, but I just keep telling myself its a small amount of time in the grand scheme of things. After all I lived with Peyronies Disease for 7 years. Weird saying "lived" because it seemed to be defining me for so many years, and now I feel that I am closer to moving past it.

Not being able to workout is also tough. I can't lift for 2 weeks post op. I cant swim for 4 weeks. And I cant run until swelling has gone away.

I am still worried about the sutures breaking as Dr. Lue said that is a risk especially because I am on the younger side (late 20's). So I plan on being extra careful for the first months and first year post op.

Please let me know if anyone has any questions. I dont know if anyone will read this, but I remember when I was contemplating surgery, I wish I had a detailed write up like this.

Hey guys. I finally took a look at my penis fully erect today- 2 weeks post op from Tunica Albuginea Plication (TAP) with Dr Levine. Went from 60 degrees down and left curve to…

COMPLETELY STRAIGHT!!!

7 years of suffering, depression, anxiety and worry about my future. I now feel like a new person. I wish I did this surgery a long time ago.

I lost only 0.5 cm in length. Barely anything.

I just hope it stays straight now.

Also, I highly recommend Dr. Levine. Cant stress how amazing of a doctor he is.

Still have to wait 4 more weeks before having sex. Man it’s tough to wait, but nothing compared to the last 7 years.

Happy to answer more questions and help out anyone in this community to the best of my abilities.

WoW what good news, it's really great for you after all that you survived, hoping your recovery continues to go well!

Do you have any permanent or absorbable sutures inside the penis from your TAP surgery?

Has Levine allowed you to do traction with your 2 permanent stitches , or are you planning on not doing any?

Honestly I feel that my Erectile Dysfunction has completely gone away. It must have all been psychological as the Peyronies Disease caused me to have depression and anxiety. Now I feel like a new person and I am able to get erections very easily. I am also in my 20's and I'm not allowed to have sex until 6 weeks post op so that may be another reason I am having such easy erections.

Has Levine allowed you to do traction with your 2 permanent stitches , or are you planning on not doing any?

Yes at 6 weeks post op I am instructed to do traction with penimaster pro for 3 hours/ day for at least 3 months. I plan to do this. Penimaster Pro is a great device as I have one.

3 Weeks Post OP Update:

Everything is going well so far. I am straight and having great erections. I have not had sex yet as I am not allowed to until 6 weeks post op.

There is still swelling under my glands where the circumcision was made. I was told it could be 4-5 months before it completely goes away. It doesn't bother me much, just looks kind of ugly.

I have been doing stretch therapy everyday for 5-10 min 2x/ day. I have also been stimulating erections each day. These are per the post op care protocol from Dr. Levine. Sensation is intact.

Something that was a bit concerning was that I did notice a very slight indentation/ hourglass shape on the left side. It is hardly noticeable as you have to look really close to see it. Basically, the shaft narrows very slight from distal to proximal on the shaft (perhaps where the plaque is). I called Dr. Levine's fellow to ask about it. He said its probably just swelling and check back in a month and he said they didn't see any hourglass during surgery. He said he's never heard of an hourglass happening after plication. However, even if this is permanent, it really doesn't bother me as it is very minor. Now if it gets worse that will be an issue.

Also, if anyone is a part of the FB group, please let them know I was banned. I guess it was because so many people messaging me with pictures.

Overall, still very happy. I really feel like a new person. I'm so happy I had this surgery after delaying it 3 times. It is so scary to have a surgery like this, but so far it was 100% worth it.  Words can't describe how I feel now. My depression and anxiety has pretty much gone away.

Hope this helps everyone, let me know if there are any questions. Ill continue to update.

Also, Ill be posting before/ after pictures eventually for those who would like to see the results.

To help the healing of your circumcision I would suggest using a healing skin oil like Palmers --> https://www.vitacost.com/palmers-cocoa-butter-formula-with-vitamin-e-skin-therapy-oil-5-1-fl-oz?ta=palmers+cocoa+butter+oil&t=palmers+cocoa+butter+oil .  I have used this for years to almost eliminate scars and skin blemishes.

Forgot to mention as many are asking.

My pain has pretty much gone away as the incision has healed. There is just some minor soreness on the shaft where the plication sutures are.

1 Month Post Op Update:

Not much to update here. Everything is still going well.

Some concerns: I think I noticed a slight residual curve bend to the left. Maybe 5 degrees. Its not a curve. More just a bend to the left. Thinking it could be from the stem cell treatment I had. Also, the minor indentation that I noticed in my last update doesn't seem to be going away, but it also doesn't seem to be getting worse. I notice its easier to bend my penis left than right because of the indentation, so the left side is a bit weaker. It doesn't bother me much. My girlfriend didn't notice it.

Also, I showed my girlfriend my new penis for the first time. She said it looks bigger and more straight. I guess it looks bigger because my erections are much better as my self-esteem has improved a lot since this procedure. She did some minor massage and mouth action which felt great (no loss of sensation). However, we are still waiting to have vaginal sex until 6 week post-op as per the instructions from Dr. Levine.

Also, Ill be posting before/ after pictures soon. Most likely at the next update.

I've also been waking up with night sweats and nightmares about Peyronies and the surgery. Maybe its PTSD. The disease really caused me to be depressed for almost 7 years and the surgery was very scary. If anyone has advice on how to deal with this, please let me know.

Let me know if you guys have any questions. Ive been receiving a lot of dm's and happy to keep helping.

Thanks man. I am still really worried about a residual curvature. I noticed your bio and I am curious when you started to notice your residual curvature? I feel that it may be more common in men in their 20's like us since we have stronger erections. I'm wondering if I should try to stop having erections and let it heal more.

I was taking NEO 40 (Nitric Oxide) for more blood flow and erections but I stopped to let it heal more.

Yes my circumcision sutures were gone by the 3rd week.

Yes there are palpable internal sutures. Some are more prominent than others. I can feel maybe 2 easily and 3 if I really try to palpate deeper. It doesn't bother me though and my girlfriend doesn't even notice. At least not yet.

Hi Ruff, (I sent also a private message but I send you a message also here to be sure you can read it)
I read your situation, I’m very happy that you find the solution and I hope to do the same, for this reason I wanna ask something to understand more about what operation I can do cause also for me Levine is the best choice:

1 what is the different between tap and incision with graf, do you thought about this operation with Levine?

2 does you penis return as before peyronie?

3 does Levine offered you different method to operate on you?

I’ll be very happy if you can answer this question

Hi Ruff, I've been reading your thread and I feel very related to you.  I'm also late 20's but in my case my 60° ventral curvature  was congenital. I did the same operation as you just one week before you (I'm now on day 50 of recovery).

What you're defining is almost exactly what is happening to me. My penis was completely straight in the first week after the operation but now is bending 10-15° towards its original shape. As long as it stays there I will consider it a "feature" of my old self, so that's fine.

The thing that is really bugging me is the indentation, in my case also on the left side about mid shaft. I would say it's hardly noticeable if you don't pay too much attention to it but it's definitely visible. Same as you, as long as it stays there, no big deal. The thing that is freaking me out is that the area is kind of more sensitive, and it disturbs me a little, but I cannot yet tell for sure if this mild discomfort is just psicological or it is real. Can you feel this too?

The pain in my case has almost completely go away during the erections, but it still hurts when trying to penetrate (which is not possible without lots of lube) and when I'm standing (in this case is like the tip of my penis has "weight" and the middle shaft is fighting the gravity to keep it up).

Also, during my sleep I have prolonged erections that they seem to never stop. This prevented me from sleep the first two weeks. Now that the erection itself is not painful I feel like the erections last for hours and eventually I wake up like "Hey mate would you stop it!!??". I have to sit down or stand up to stop it but as soon as I go back to sleep it starts again. At first I thought this happened because of lack of sex and the fact that my girlfriend sleeps next to me makes my subconscious to start the engine. But the other night we had sex just before going to sleep and I still had this erections anyway... I feel like I need a break here, I don't know if it is possible to prevent erections while sleeping?

By the way, can you put on the condoms you used to use before the operation? For my is literally impossible, they don't fit anymore and on top of it is super difficult to roll them down past the cuting line of the prepuce (which is cured, but still looks kind of ugly as you said).

A big hug mate. I hope things work its way through fine for both of us. Let me know if there is anything. Since I'm one week ahead of you I may be able to predict.

Hi Luker. Thanks for reaching out.

1. TAP is tunica albuginea plication. The tunica albuginea is the outer part of the penis. Surgical plication means folding or bringing two sides together through incisions. Thus, the TAP procedure is making the longer side of the penis shorter to make it straight by cutting the tunica albuginea. Incision with graft is where, instead of shortening the longer side, they lengthen the shorter side by cutting out the plaque (going deeper than the tunica albuginea to the corpus cavernosum) and inserting a graft to replace the plaque. Incision with graft is more invasive.

Please someone correct me if this explanation is wrong, but this is how I understand it. I am not as familiar with incision and graft. I know that it is more invasive, more risky, and is used when there is hourglass, indendation, and/ or very significant curvature. TAP has a higher success rate but some men who have hourglass, indendation, or very significant curvature need to have incision with graft instead.

2. I am not sure I understand this question. My penis is now straight after surgery.

3. I asked Levine about different procedures and he recommended plication for me.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Hope that helped.

Hi Vic. Thanks for the great questions. I am glad you reached out.

Regarding the indentation, I dont feel that it is very sensitive and it doesnt bother me because it is so minor. I am wondering if it could also be from swelling to. My doctor said it could be 9-12 months before penis is 100% back to normal with no swelling. So that is also something to keep in mind.

Hope your pain goes away. Mine has completely gone away except if in a certain position during sex there is some minor discomfort or pain. But not if I am simply just standing up with an erection.

Interesting you say that about the erections. I am also having erections all the time especially when sleeping. I have to take off my boxers and sleep naked sometimes because of the erections. However, it doesn't bother me too much as I kind of want the erections to keep coming as it is important for the healing process. Also, I much rather have problem with getting erections than not getting erections.

Yes I am able to put condoms on. It is a bit uncomfortable at times putting them on and taking them off but I am able to.

Thanks mate. Looking forward to hearing about your successful recovery.

6 Week Post-Op Update:

It is officially 6 week post-op which means I am cleared to have sex. I have finally had sex with my partner and it went well. We did it twice and it felt great both times. Honestly, "great" is an understatement. It was the best sex of my life. I feel that I finally know what sex is supposed to feel like. I was able to ejaculate both times. My girlfriend said it was amazing too. Much better than before. She said she also came and was moaning a lot. We did missionary both times. I am still worried about her getting on top and am just going to keep taking it slow.

I really feel like a new person. I honestly never thought this day would come and it feel like a dream. After 7 years of depression and not being able to have normal sex, I feel normal. I would like to make a post-op appointment with Dr. Levine and give him a hug if he lets me. He gave me my life back. I will be forever grateful for him.

Moving forward, I plan to start traction therapy 3 hours per day for 3 months with penimaster pro. I did penimaster pro traction therapy before surgery and didn't find much result, but this is what Dr. Levine instructed me to do. I am a bit worried about potential damage the traction device could cause, but Dr. Levine said it will help improve results significantly and should not cause damage. Has anyone tried traction therapy after surgery? How did it go?

To anyone reading this, there is hope. Don't give up. Surgery is scary, but if done by an expert surgeon, it works and it works very well.

Happy to keep updating and answering more questions.

Why do you want to use a traction device ? Didn't your length come back naturally?

Thanks for your answer and very glad to read your 6 week post-op update! ;D

I'm on week 8 post-op and things are going at a slower pace than you but also improving. No way I'm having sex twice in a day!! After it I feel it a bit sore which makes me call it a day.

I checked with my doctor about the indentation and he told me that it all looks fantastic and perfectly in the normal-average realm given the situation. He also told me that experiencing discomfort is possible even in month 6 or so, so I guess my recovering is just a bit slower (and perhaps the girth thing doesn't help since I had already a fair amount of it before operation, which increases pressure during intercourse.)

It surprises me the amount of information that you are given regarding the healing process (like erections at night should keep coming because is good). In my case, my doctor is like this was no big deal and asked me to not worry about my penis and act normal, just do things gently. He didn't give any kind of exercises, things to keep in mind or anything else apart from: Wash and apply iodine on the cut line every 24 hours in the first 3 weeks and cleared me for sex (even masturbation) on a visit in day 38.

I guess the indentation thing is freaking me out unnecessarily, everything else is actually fine and I'm happy with the outcome so far.

Thanks Ruff, keep us updated!!

thanks man. traction device is to guide the sutures mainly according to Dr. Levine. length may increase a bit but thats not the goal in my case since i didnt lose much length.

thank you so much man. honestly cant believe this is a reality. Im looking at old pictures and thinking how did I live like that. I am so glad I decided to go through with surgery. There was a point where I was thinking maybe ill just live the rest of my life like this and be single. This was truly life changing. I really need to give Dr. Levine a hug next time I see him.

Sex feels completely different than before. Like, its indescribable how much better it feels. My partner is happier than ever. I feel normal and happy.

I never never never thought this day would come.

Thank you Dr. Levine. And thank you so much to this community for always supporting each other.

I wont leave, and be a life long member of this community in an effort to help others going through this.

Hi Ruff, how are things going?

For me things seem to have stabilized, even though there is still mild pain during intercourse (specially when I'm near to eyaculatiton). 10 weeks post-op.

There's still this "phantom" discomfort about the indentation site when flaccid, but I only notice it when thinking about it, so I'm not sure if this is just then power of the mind. It is not getting worse as for now.

So far so good. I am 8 weeks post op now. Everything is good and stabilized. There is mild soreness when erect but I think that is from having sex and/ or masturbating. I am supposed to be using the traction device everyday but admittedly I haven't had time to use it. I plan on start using it this week. I am still doing manual traction for 5-10 min a day.

I am glad to hear you are doing well and stabilized. As long as your indentation doesn't get worse and you are able to have sex, I think that is all that matters!

Thanks for checking in my man. Keep in touch.

Hi ruff, I have one question
I also had the TAP procedure 18 days ago, and the thing that worries me is that, when erect, my penis is very stiff in a sense that I can't move it around that much (or at all).
For example, when laying on my back, during erection it is pointing towards my head, and I literally can't move it away (for example, to point towards the ceiling). It hurts a lot, everything seems stiff and tight, and my erection then quickly dies down, and only then can I move it away.
Did you encounter something similar? Does it get better?

Hi Joavyer, in my experience, 18 days is way too little to worry about this things. At that point of the recovery almost everything hurts.

In your specific scenario, I had a similar pain when erect if standing since gravity is kind of pulling the penis to the ground. I still have some discomfort 13 weeks post op, but is been getting better and better over time. :)

I see, thank you Vic for the answer and for the reasurement!
The recovery is definitely emotionally draining. The doctor said "after 6 weeks you'll be able to have sex", and I thought 6 weeks and it's done, everything is completely healed. But I see now that full healing will likely take up to a year.
Another question - did you also experience swelling around the circumcision scar? I'm 3 weeks in, and it doesn't seem to be subsiding at all

Hey man. Congrats on surgery. I understand your worries. In terms of stiffness, my penis is stiff when its erect, yes mine is stiff and when I am erect laying on my back it also points to my head.  However, it hasn't really bothered me too much. As long as I am able to have sex I am happy. I am able to move it if I try but I don't try out of fear of damaging it and I was also instructed not to by my doctor.

Is it the pain that worries you the most? As the other member said, you are still early and still healing.

I see thank you. Well at this point, the only position that seems "impossible" to me is cowgirl if the girl is on top, because as I said I can't move my penis away from my body. It seems because that third erectile tissue that runs from the bottom all the way (the corpus spongiosum, where the urethra is), is now as stiff as it gets, and doesn't give me any room to move the penis away. At least currently I hope that it hurts too much because of the healing? And that it will relax as both of you said
Thanks again for the answer!

Definitely, I have the same issue with the cowgirl position except that I've already went through the pain phase. Now is just a mix of discomfort and "fear" of going too far since I'm not the one in control.

I also had the belief that it was a minor operation and that after 6 weeks I was going to have normal sex and it was going to be as if nothing.

The truth is, even though minor it is still an operation. We can see the circumcision scar at the surface level so who knows what is really going on at the dots under the skin. It takes time to heal.

The first time I had sex it hurted quite a lot. I could get it all in but I felt that maybe I shouldn't have. The only thing that kept me going was the long period of abstinence (I did this on day 38, after doctor cleared me on a control visit the day before). Anyway, apart from the pain, I was fine.

ABOUT THE SWELLING at the circumcision scar, YES. It happened the first 3 or 4 times. I asked the doctor about it and it was normal. The skin there is still tender and the scrubbing doesn't help. Use a lot of lube and wait until the swelling goes away before next time (It'll be a couple of days and you won't want to have sex anyway in that state).

I'll say 6 weeks sex was possible but with pain and swealling afterwards.

8 weeks sex became more enjoyable but still some pain and swealling (even though less than before)

10 weeks we started to get more experimental with positions other than missionary since I feel even less pain and swelling. I allow her on top at this point but being very very careful.

12 weeks I think is the first time I manage to have sex thinking more about HER pleasure and worrying less about my dick. No pain now just discomfort and a bit (almost unnoticeable) of swealling in the shaft after.

Now I'm going for the 14th week. I feel I'm starting right now to have sex in "normal" conditions, but of course doesn't come to my mind to do anything near rough. If a position generates more discomfort  (for example cowgirl) we try to find the point where it doesn't and work our way from there.

Hope this timelime of my experience helps you find what to expect!

Wow, great answer, thank you Vic, definitely helps to know what to expect in the coming weeks.

I did have one more problem, but I guess if you didn't face this issue there wouldn't be much to ask you
Approximately 5 days ago, I felt one of my plication sutures pop under my hand during a morning erection. It was one of the first feelings I ever felt, and my erection instantly died down at that point.
I called the doctor's office, and one of the associates over there told me that "it's normal, don't worry about it, and see you on our scheduled chekup in a few weeks"
After I calmed down a little bit, the next few days kinda remained the same, i.e. I was still having night/morning errections, with less pain each day, so I guess nothing major happened.
But I do notice now a bit of a hinge at one side where I felt the pop, and the shape of my penis in the flaccid state is now anything but straight/normal (one side is shorted, one part in the middle sticks up, I can feel a different texture underneath compared to the rest of the penis). During erections it seems ok though.
I have no idea whether I should worry about this or how much, but at this point I can only wait for my scheduled checkup in 10 days and see with the doctor what's going on

The "pop" feeling and the way you describe it sounds worrying BUT you said that your penis during erections seems fine. I think that's all that matters.

I asked my doctor what would happen in the event of breaking the knots and he told me that your erection would almost instantly go back to its natural position prior plication. So I really hope this scenario is something you can rule out.

I haven't had no "pops" as for now but I can tell you that some days during the first 6 weeks I've noticed bumps, indentations, "things" here and there that made me worry a lot as well.

I think this is all due to two factors: The first one being the belief of what when you are cleared for sex means you're completely cured, when you're obviously not cured yet. The second one being that we probably never paid that much attention to our penises ever in our lives, and we are doing it now in a phase that things are changing (swellings/unswellings) due to an operation.

I hope your doctor confirms that this is nothing near a setback. And remember that the dots are placed when your penis is erected. Penis can do whatever he wants in flacid state, but if your erection is straight, that's a good sign.

Hey Vic and ruff

Glad to hear both your recovery is coming along well. I had the surgery about 10 days ago. I have a couple of questions of both of you.

Did you experience any retraction of your penis ?

Did you feel like your penile length improved over the course of your recovery? Like i feel now i have lost half of my penis length. I knew i was going to have a lesser size but it seems like too much loss. Am i setting my expectations high ? Or does it improve over time?

Thanks

In my case I've had lost a bit of lenght but the lack of curvature makes up for it so actually it looks bigger when erect (at least you wouldn't say is shorter than before). When flacid it does look smaller, but more chubby than before, I'm not sure yet if it is going be like that or there's still some swelling that has to go away.

In my first two weeks things looked quite bad yet. Then things started to look better about the 3rd week. Hope this is the same for you too!

I actually look better in my flaccid state than my erect state. But I think that's because the swelling has not gone down yet. i shall keep track of my size from now to until 8 weeks post op and see if there are improvements.

Thanks vic

3.5 months post-op update.

Unfortunately, I have to report some not so great news. I started to notice an upward curve recently combined with maybe 0.5 inch loss of length. I am not sure if I am measuring accurately since I do not know if I am completely erect, but yea, I am worried. The curve is only evident when I am flexing my penis and its erect. If my penis is erect and I do not flex it, it appears fairly straight still.

Guessing what happened was that the dorsal sutures caused some retraction in the dorsal side.

I started traction a few weeks ago when I started to notice it. It was recommended I start traction 6 weeks post op, so I regret not starting it then instead of 10 weeks post op. Using penimaster pro for 3 hours a day everyday. I am probably going to start using it for longer because I am getting pretty worried. I'm considering using it when I sleep, but seems a bit dangerous.

Haven't had much sex with my girlfriend because I have been busy and stressed out with work, but last time we had sex it was fine. If this is permanent and I have this upward curve now and loss of length now, I think I will be okay as it is much easier to have sex with an upward curve than a lateral and downward curve as I had before.

Definitely going to bring this up at my post-op appointment with Dr. Levine.

Also, can anyone who has done traction pre or post surgery please comment on if you found it helpful? Can you wear it to sleep? I am doing about 500g force (I think).

Anyways, I am feeling down, but I am hoping with traction I can get back to how I was immediately post op.

Hey man, have you noticed any residual curve? Or just retraction.

For now there seems to be no residual curvature, but doc said he will leave some small curvature to compensate for length loss. So I need to wait and see.

Penis is retracted. For now it is straight but leaning on the left. It's only been two weeks since surgery, I guess I need to wait for sometime.
