I had the myocarditis reaction to the moderna vaccine back in august. Sometimes i wonder if all that systemic inflammation could have caused my issues. Now im sick with covid and am noticing the hourglass seems slightly worse. Im wondering if maybe covid could worsen things for me or if anyone else has had that experience.

My urologist said that he has noticed an increase in peyronie's cases since covid. He says that both covid itself and the vaccine create a major immune response due to major inflammation in your body. If you are a subject with peyronie's or prone to have it, he says that covid or the vaccine may worsen it. I stress that he said it may happen, it is not for granted.

I have personally seen my peyronies going much worse over night after the 2nd Moderna shot.

I had severe covid in early Feb. 2022, otherwise in good health.  Then in late March 2022, I noticed narrowing/hourglass on the base of my penis.  This was the first ever sign of peyronies for me.  I believe covid had a direct influence on me getting peyronies.  I don't know that I will ever be able to prove/disprove that, it is just my belief and a heck of a coincidence.

Swampman, id be curious to know if your symptoms remain stable or progress over time.

I share your sentiment that it seems to be relate but this cannot be proven. I believe it’s something worth considering for sure especially since Peyronie’s seems to be related to autoimmune dysfunction and inflammation

I had COVID in 2020.  I finally caved in September 2021 and got vaccinated, got diagnosed in January 2022.  I often wondered if the vaccine contributed to my Peyronies Disease.
 
I will search COVID in the forum and read up, never thought of it!

An injury definitely started my Peyronie's, but it was also between my first two vaccine shots.
My condition worsened when I actually caught COVID half a year later, just a week before my booster shot.

Could be coincidentally or not, I don't know.
But it seems like damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Next shot will be due soon, wish me luck.

So you have had 2 shots of the vaccine and you are not sure if this worsened your condition?  Why in the world would you want to get a third one and possibly worsen your peyronies?  Have you been tested for antibodies?  I would leave things alone and see if your peyronies improves with treatment.

Well I am also not sure if COVID itself worsened the condition, so it is a wash.
If I am not vacced, I might catch it again, causing also other symptoms.

I’ve had two conditions inflict me since being vaccinated and boosted. Peronies and also tinnitus.  No proof either one came from that but I had no injury that I’m aware of and it seems like both of these ailments have some people agreeing that there is a correlation.  I never thought about the vaccination being responsible until I very recently read some things. And of course I got my second booster a week or two ago.

I've had covid 2 times. First time in March 2021. Second time in February 2022.

The first one 100% made my condition worse. It started another round of inflammation and I also got problems with the balls as well. The first round of covid impacted my erection quality quite drastically actually..
