Hi, I've taken finasteride for around 20 months and just noticed a month or so ago a curve in my penis that didn't exist before. I thought it might've just been how I slept so I waited for a couple of weeks for it to resolve, but it didn't go away. I recently come across some articles about how fin can cause peyronies and now I'm very concerned. My penis doesn't hurt but the angle is strange. What do y'all think? I'm meeting with a urologist in a month to confirm but would like to have some idea going in.

I took finasteride for about 18 months. First thing I noticed was the complete lack of night time erections. Then I noticed some pain on each side at the base of my penis when I was erect and masturbating. Soon I developed hourglassing, a curve, and loss of length, even when flaccid. I can't prove it was the finasteride, but I'd never take it again. I got off the finasteride and I'm now doing traction (Restorex) and VED. My advice - get off the finasteride.

ImScared,  Welcome to the forum.

A doctor could not diagnose you over the internet just from a photo even if you had before and after photos.  There is no way we can know.  Penises come in all shapes and sizes.  It could be but it very well might not be.

The first thing you need to do is read this thoroughly.  LINK-->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html  I would get off of the finasteride and let your body regulate.  Read the link, stop stressing, and get good rest and a healthy lifestyle.  Find a specialist, not a run-of-the-mill urologist or you are not likely to be very satisfied with your appointment.
