I have a left curving 35-36 degrees. Anyone who's gone through surgery - was it worth straightening for this level of curvature? I can have sex as it is but certain positions are uncomfortable (woman on top, missionary is tricky, etc). The only position I can kind of get right is from the side and from behind. Other than that it's cumbersome. Thanks!

I don't even recommend surgery for curves less then 40 degrees upward. I think the same would apply for lateral.

Thanks. I spoke to a surgeon who told me anything lateral over 15 degrees consider as out of normal range and anything around 30 he'd operate on. Seems like it's discretion of patients rather than doctors advising that dictates whether or not to do this surgery.

Personally I think that any curvature of 30 degrees or less for a lateral or upward curvature is normal
On the other hand, a downward curvature of 25-30 degrees is already very disabling for sex

- 01/2020: Nesbit surgery for a 50 degrees downward curvature with Dr.Faix (FR) : bad result

- 12/2022 : Surgery correction with Dr.Gelman US

- Now : Indentation on the left dorsal side with a rotation to the left that appeared, try Restorex

I also have a lateral curve. Even in mild cases they are worse than dorsal curves. I would much rather have a dorsal curve with the same degree of my current lateral one. Many even say slight dorsal curves will feel better for your partner too whereas lateral ones can cause discomfort for both persons involved.
30 years. Sudden rightwards curve detected in June 2020
Narrowing on right side and about a 20° curve to the right.
ED + instability due to narrowing.

Both the doc I have seen in Sweden and the current one in the UK say curvatures of around 50-60 degrees and above could be considered for surgery. That was public health care. Then again, it also depends on your age, what other treatments you have tried (VED, traction etc.) and how much you are willing to pay for private health care.
Early 30s, diagnosed with Peyronies in 2017 after trauma during sex. ca 15 degrees upward curvature. Restorex, VED, 5mg Cialis, Pentox, L-arginine, Coq10, Propolis, Vitamin E. Underwent 12 rounds of Verapamil injections 2021-22
