First off just want to say thank you all immensely for these amazing resources and posts, if it wasn't for them I would be completely in the dark here. My symptoms started slow about 3 months ago when I started noticing my flaccid and semi-erect states were curving to the right more than usual (I have a slight natural curve). I was a bit concerned about this but just forgot about eventually. Then 2 weeks ago I suffered some type of injury while masturbating. I felt an immediate pain and everything changed since then.

I had daily pain that is now mostly gone, inflammation, more curving, and developed a small bump on that right side near the base. I panicked and manically searched the internet for answers and eventually bought all these supplements listed in my signature. My fully erect state is still normal, and maybe even a bit larger due to these supplements but im terrified that the curve will eventually affect it as well, as i've read here on the forum. Because of this I want to try everything possible to slow or reverse these effects. Urologist told me NOTHING is effective and not to do traction, heat therapy, pentox, cialis, and just wait and see but I refuse to just throw my hands up.

Which brings me here now. Did you guys experience a curve only in the flaccid and semi-erect states first before fully erect? Are there any other supplements I should add to this cocktail? Are there any dangers to traction if im not currently showing an erect curve? I'm afraid to make it worse by doing traction and giving it some time to heal before I buy restorex. Is traction advised in the early acute phase? Any exercises? Should I be having sex? Any advice or perspective will be invaluably helpful to my situation. Thank you all in advance!

Hey there,

I'll give you my experience:

I also had a prominent semi-erect curve. Full Erection was almost normal (this got worse over time).

It's likely that you have scar tissue causing the semi erect bend, the scar tissue  is stretching when full erect, thus, your full erevtion is close to normal. There are other conditions such as Mondors disease I think as well as a swollen lymph condition which mimic the symptoms you have but are not peyronies. A good urologist may  be able to confirm this. In my case it was scar tissue and possible vascular issue,  this continued  to worsen.

When this first started I did not have erectile dysfunction, over the years this got worse and I ended up having moderate ED. So be aware that this could be a possibility for you.

I tried all the supplements you've listed, the  only ones that I actually can say were beneficial are pentox and daily tadalafil (cialis daily). Maybe L-citruline and ALCAR.

I do believe there's studies out there that show traction is beneficial in the early stages. There are definitely risks involved so be sure to look these up.. You'll find some good insight on Neo's YouTube channel where he explains traction and heat therapy in detail.

Personally, I found the most benefit from VED. Just be cautious that there are risks of over pumping etc. many members here have cured themselves with traction and VED but also many members have re-injured themselves as well.

Restorex is a great device, I've been using it for almost 50 days now. I can say I've seen some improvement in my condition. The device takes some getting use to but is working for me. Do some forum searches and you'll see.

If I could go back to where you are I definitely would have started treatment far earlier. I probably waited a year until doing anything and the disease definitely progressed.

I highly recommend you find a different urologist who's specialises in peyronies.

If you attack the disease now, there is a good chance it won't progress ans you could be back to normal. I definitely recommend abstaining from sex/masturbation for now unless it is very gentle. This is how people end up re-injured as well. Look up 'neoman' on YouTube - his videos will explain traction to you.

Whichever treatment you choose, be sure to be very gentle and cautious. Look up all the risks here and stay consistent with it.

Hope you overcome this!

I appreciate you sharing your experience and perspective with me brother. This is what I fear as i've read how a scar forms after penile trauma that can lead to all sorts of issues and full-blown Peyronies. I think that scar has begun forming and is still soft enough to (hopefully) slow down. Have you seen any posts on this forum of injury/trauma not turning into Peyronies with time? And over how long would you say your symptoms continued to change? I definitely want to do treatments early, but I'm giving it another few weeks to heal before I begin traction. I wish for continued recovery for you and thanks for stopping by on this post!

Hey no problem brother, I know exactly How you feel - been in the same situation. It's a terrible place to be in and something that you would never even expect could possibly even happen.

I can't say I've seen posts of injury/ trauma not turning into peyronies over time as I haven't specifically look for anything like that. But I can definitely say that many people here have healed their condition with the recommended treatments. I just wouldn't wait too long to start.

My symptoms worsened over years however, at certain times they were getting better. Have a look on the improvements forum you'll see a few posts of guys who have healed themselves.. There's a post by me there where I manages to see some great progress with VED usage, unfortunately I overdid it and reinjured myself. So there is definitely hope for you, just gotta be extra cautious.

You could possibly start with pentox and/or cialis daily if you don't wish to start VED/Traction just yet.

Stay positive and keep us updated!
