APRIL UPDATE – first month of traction

Average daily wear time: 2.8 h
Traction: Low (first to second marking)
Deviation at the start of the month: 45° dorsal, 13° lateral
Deviation at the end of the month: 44° dorsal, 10° lateral

Slight variations in the measurements. No improvement, but also no worsening in curvature.
I think I'm starting to get the swelling under control.

Hey takit! I enjoyed seeing the graph you put out. Gives a nice perspective on how things are doing for you. I am on a different device but I'm taking cialis 5mg too.

How are you taking these measurements? Photos and protractor on the photo software?

Hey, thanks for your reply. I'm taking the measurements with a triangle ruler on my smartphone screen – I never thougt about using a software protractor 😅

I'm interested in your progress man.

I've been using restorex and thinking of purchasing a PMP to add in.

Hoping to see your results!

MAY UPDATE – second month of traction

Average daily wear time: 2.5 h
Traction: Low (first to second marking)
Deviation at the start of the month: 44° dorsal, 10° lateral
Deviation at the end of the month: 41° dorsal, 8° lateral

Slight variations in the measurements. No improvement.
Swelling is back but manageable. My Glans is getting pretty leathery. I should be able to get a bit more wear time in June.

Thanks for your reply. Since I have not yet been able to achieve any results so far, I can't really recommend the PMP. But if you have the money and the time, you can give it a try – maybe it works better for you.

Hi takit!

I have bought a new device too. The time recommended by most traction advisers is nearly six hours. In your case I have seen that it is about 2.5 hours a day. I understand it is difficult to find more time in our daily life. My device adviser recommended me from 3.5 hours a day to about six hours of daily use so that it can work well. Of course the RestoreX is different because apparently it uses a different technology. I am trying to use my new device about five hours a day.

Of course I am not trying to give you any piece of advise. You are a far more experimented man than me about this. I only wanted to tell you that perhaps the device needs more time to be used daily to get better results.

I wish you have a nice improvement as soon as possible.

Best wishes,

Joe

Hi again takit!

Besides what I have commented you before, you should leave al least 14 weeks to see or notice results. In one month it is difficult to see improvement. So please forgive me for being sincere with you.

(This is only to encourage you, please don't be offended)

Best wishes,

Joe

Has anyone used Restorex, got length gains, stopped, and lost those gains?

I am considering buying it, but in the FAQ on the Restorex website one question is: "Are the gains permanent, or do I need to continue treatment after the 12 weeks?"

The response: "For lengthening, it is likely that 1-2, 30-minute treatments per week are necessary to maintain results."

I am sold on it increasing length, I just don't want to wear it forever to maintain gains.

Hey Joe, thank you very much for your message. I'm trying to increase the wear time but at the moment 4 h is my limit. After that it is starting to hurt a few hours after application until the next morning. I am very unsure. My doctor does not think much of the treatment and thinks it could also make it worse.

I'm planning to wear the PMP for half a year and then decide how to proceed further.

JUNE UPDATE – third month of traction

Average daily wear time: 3.8 h
Traction: Low (first to second marking)
Deviation at the start of the month: 41° dorsal, 8° lateral
Deviation at the end of the month: 45° dorsal, 11° lateral

Usual variations in the measurements. No improvement.
I increased the wear time by about one hour. Swelling is under control and my glans is getting a bit better. I think one of the plaques has become slightly bigger and moved a bit in the direction of the glans.

JULY UPDATE – fourth month of traction

Average daily wear time: 3.9 h
Traction: Low (first to second marking)
Deviation at the start of the month: 45° dorsal, 11° lateral
Deviation at the end of the month: 45° dorsal, 6° lateral

Usual variations in the measurements. No real improvement.

I have noticed variations in lateral deviation depending on the position in which my penis becomes erect.

Hourglassing looks worse, but is not measurable.

I feel like my glans is no longer as enlarged as it used to be while erected.

Swelling is still okay I have noticed a pale, slightly numb spot at the base of my penis where the PMP presses against it. I'm trying to pad it with some foam now.

I managed to make an appointment with a specialist at the end of September. Unfortunately, the examination is not covered by my health insurance.

I'm thinking about stoping traction therapy. Maybe I'll wait till my appointment.

Since my penis has been hurting a bit for the last week or so, I'm taking a break today. How do you guys deal with pain?

In the past when I was experiencing pain I always used a heating pad on low throughout the day. I stopped traction and waited for things to lessen. Then when better started my treatment plan again.

Hey Mikel7, thank you for your reply. Since summer seems to be almost over, I’ll give warmth a try. I have also introduced cheat days (once every ten days) without stretching, which are physically and mentally good for me.

AUGUST UPDATE – fifth month of traction

Average daily wear time: 3.5 h
Traction: Low (first to second marking)
Deviation at the start of the month: 45° dorsal, 6° lateral
Deviation at the end of the month: 45° dorsal, 4° lateral
Fairly consistent measurement results. No improvement.

Hourglassing got worse, I lost another 5 mm.

I lost about 5 mm in lenght.

I feel like the lateral curveature is going to switch sides.

The pale numb spot at the base of my penis got better. I padded the PM with a piece of foam.

The eaculation hurts a bit and it feels like I can't fully "empty" myself.

I have introduced cheat days (once every ten days) without stretching.

My appointment with the Peyronies Disease specialist was rescheduled for the end of December. This sucks :(

SEPTEMBER UPDATE – sixth month of traction

Average daily wear time: 3.6 h
Traction: Low (first to second marking)
Deviation at the start of the month: 45° dorsal, 4° lateral
Deviation at the end of the month: 45° dorsal, 4° lateral
Fairly consistent measurement results. No improvement.

Hourglassing got worse, the indentation got longer. I lost another mm or so.

Lenght is fairly constant.

Lateral curveature switched sides. Now I'm at about 4° to the left.

Erections hurt a bit more than I'm used to. Eaculating still feels strange.

Since I'm seeing no improvements for the last six months, I'm considering discontinuing traction.
What was your progress after six months?
