Implant surgery on Australia

Has anyone had an implant done in Australia ?

Just looking for some advice please.

The best I can offer you is to go into advanced search and type Australia implant  and check View as Messages

Out of 35 posts, a few are about surgeons in Australia.

AverageBloke just got an implant in the U.S. which is not within most men's ability but he probably researched surgeons in Australia so he might know the best ones.

If you are looking for an implant surgeon in Australia, Dr.Darren Katz is who you need to see.

My understanding is that he is the #1 implant surgeon in Australia and is world renowned.

Disclaimer - I have not had implant surgery and have only researched this topic moderately.

Hey JJ21,

Go and see Dr Love in Melbourne. He is the highest volume implant surgeon in Australia and is a Center of Excellence in Penile Implants. Dr Love does over 75 penile implants every year and was trained under Dr Perito.

He practices the infrapubic approach but is extremely skilled in this approach. He is aggressive with sizing, likes to use the Titan implants and he uses a minimally invasive no touch approach with a low infection rate.

Since your Australian, you could try and get it covered by health insurance also. I would speak to Dr Love's office about this...

If I didn't travel to the United States I would've selected Dr Love as my surgeon.

Dr Love is very well renowned and he actually works in the same practice as Darren Katz.

You're in good hands with either of these two men.

Also, Hawk is right.

No need to pm this kind of information.  

The whole idea of the forum is to help each other with information.

Either way, good luck with the surgeon - the clinic that both these doctors work at would (IMHO) be considered the #1 clinic for Peyronies and implants in Australia.

I'm really considering it to have this all over and done with. I'm just very nervous and worried about the risks. I'd never be able to afford any of the top surgeons so the two main ones in Australia would be my only choice.

Appreciate the advice and responses.
