Flaccid Improvements

Muttley

Over time, as a result of committing to daily VED and traction, "His Majesty" has come to look resplendent in his relaxed (i.e. flaccid state) so much so that I am convinced that he has never looked so good. He also feels so much better: there seems to be a reduction in the firm "plates" I used to be able to detect adjacent to the corona (His crown of course :D ). In general, his whole look and feel (whilst flaccid) is really healthy now.
I do not understand how this would appear to have no bearing at all upon his alert (i.e. erect) state. There is such a disparity these days between the two. It seems to me that his health must be improving significantly but just not when it comes to the plaque (which I am never sure about being able to feel) and the resulting steep curve.
Has anybody else found this? Is it a sign of good things to come by way of improvements? I sincerely hope that it is.
