Hi all,

Stumbled upon this site and hopefully I can find some answers here...

Around 7 years ago I made an incredibly stupid, stupid decision... I chalk it up to being young, but unfortunately it looks like its going to follow me for good.

Long story short, I had been dating a girl who frequently commented about how she liked really well endowed men....so I got the idea that I needed to be "bigger" than I was, when in all actuality I was completely fine...

So I found those stupid jelquing/stretching exercises online and what not, and went to work... little did I know I was overdoing it and causing some type of damage... again, young and STUPID.  After about a week I noticed things were kind of swollen down there, and that I was having trouble urinating, so I stopped.  Well, after the swelling went down, I hoped everything would return to normal... but it didn't.  I was left with these big bulging veins, and my penis just felt odd... from then on it seemed a little firmer when flaccid, and I would get shrinkage much earlier, in fact it was like I always had a bit of shrinkage going.  It was extremely uncomfortable.

As time went by, the "odd" feeling seemed to go away, but I was left with the veins, the somewhat firmness when flaccid, and the easy shrinkage, especially when doing anything athletic...  never at any time, however, did I have a problem with erections, or notice a change in size or shape.  Erections were actually the only time everything felt completely normal, that and for some reason when I had to pee, my penis would "relax" kind of... again, weird.  All in all I got used to it and it didn't bother me that much, I had occasional periods of time when the uncomfortable feeling would return, almost like some type of inflammation, but it would come and go.

Well fast forward to now... the odd feeling has returned, but is lasting much longer (2 weeks so far)... the firmness and shrinkage have become very uncomfortable and every now and again I am getting sharp little pains in the side of my shaft, I noticed it especially last night went I turned on my side during sleep... It's almost as if I am having a blood flow problem when flaccid, but can still get good erections with no problem at all.. which doesn't make much sense to me.  The only thing I can think of is that there is some type of inflammation in there which is blocking blood flow or something... I truly have no idea where to start.  I've been taking vitamin e everyday for the last 7 years, in addition to a host of other vitamins...

I thought that after 7 years, things would be done changing on me and things had stabilized, but I guess not... does this sound Peyronies related?  A long time ago when this first happened I went to a urologist, but he didn't provide much help, said everything would return to normal with time.

Any help with this would be greatly, greatly appreciated...

The best advice I can give you at this time is find a good Male Sexual Function Specialist, not a general practice urologist, for a complete evaluation.

There are not many of these doctors. You may have to travel to go see one. Let us know what area you live in.

I live in the midwest, but am willing to travel anywhere, I came to realize a long time ago that when it comes to your body, you can't let geography limit you...

In the mean time, are there any supplements or vitamins I should be taking for penile health?  Like a few things that have become the foundation for most of the members here by general consensus?

What you have described does not sound like Peyronies to me. But does sound like you did some damage 7 years ago. If you are interested in seeing someone, I recommned Dr. L. Levine. Rush University Hospital - Chicago
Developed peyronies 2007 - 70 degree dorsal curve
Traction/MEDs/Injections/Surgery 2008 16 years Peyronies free now
