Hey,

I just want to introduce myself. I finally decided to register myself. Why? I hope reading and sharing will help me in some way.

I was diagnosed with Peyronies Disease in October 2021 – back then I had a dorsal curvature of 20° now I'm at 40° and 15° sideways. It worsened quite constantly with the jumps getting bigger lately.

I'm 35, pretty slim and otherwise healthy guy. I quit (light) smoking about five years ago and don't drink a lot alcohol. I'm single and not dating.

I started treatment shortly after the diagnosis

- Tadalafil, 5 mg
- Vitamin E, 600 mg
- Vitamin K2, 100 µg
- Vitamin D3, 2000 IE
- L-Arginin, 1500 mg
- Citrullin, 70 mg
- L-Carnitin, 400 mg

I also started massaging the plaque two times a day for about 10 minutes until my PeniMaster Pro arrived in December. I have worn the device with light tension for two months, 4 h a day without any troubles. I stoped any mechanical treatment after a spike in curvature in February. Now I'm just taking my pills.

I have spoken with five urologist but non of them could help me. They said there's nothing I can do except the operation. That hits me pretty hard ...
I'm afraid that it will get worse if I do nothing and I'm afraid that it will get worse if I do something. I don't really know what my next steps should be. I hope you guys can give me some advice.

Welcome, takit, and sorry to hear you are struggling with this condition.

I think I read somewhere that massaging plaques is not a good idea and can promote inflammation, so I think I would stop that if you haven't already. I think I've also read that traction is about the best mechanical hope we have, so I would probably stick with that.

Looks like you're doing all the right things. I'm sorry it's not producing results yet, but you might want to consider one of the true Peyronies Disease specialists like Dr. Landon Trost who participates in this forum. Your run of the mill urologists (which most of us have access to) are sort of infamous for having little to offer in regards to Peyronies Disease - most say "wait and see, and if it doesn't correct itself, we can operate." That's obviously an extremely passive approach.

I would suggest finding a specialist and see if you can't get some better care.

51 yrs. old, multiple auto-immune conditions. First episode of Peyronies Disease in 2002. Recurred a couple times since. Over the years I have tried Topical Verapamil, Iontophoresis, all the supps and Cialis + Pentoxifylline. Still functional, always worried.

Willkommen im Club,

Can't really give you a lot of advice. Some of your supplements I take as well. Urologists could not help me either. I will probably have my hormones checked in the near future. Other than that it doesn't make sense for me to go to more doctors.

Gerald

Thanks for the warm welcome. After reading the "Survival Guide" I think my next step will be to ask my urologist about Coenzym Q10 and Pentoxifyllin. And maybe try another one 😐
