Shall I keep using VED?

Hi there,

Would be really grateful for some advice. I am a 44 yr old from the UK that was diagnosed with peyronies a month ago (about 30 degree bend upwards), with my urologist suggesting that I could use the Soma Correct. His general demeanour was extremely defeatist, mentioning that I could try the VED but really there is nothing that can be done and you just have to wait to see how it ends up. In the last 5 days i've had a nerve type pain when standing up (fine when lying or sitting). I have been very careful in terms of overpumping but have felt the need to stop using the VED because of this nerve pain. I would like to understand what the symptoms of overpumping are and would you recommend the continued use  of the VED. The pain itself is probably a 2 out of 10, so nothing excruciating or impactful but its a constant reminder that something is not right. Any advice would be great. This forum is a godsend, especially when told there's nothing that can be done!

If the "nerve pain" lasts for 5 days, and is not akin to your veins being filled with blood because of VED, then something else is happening. Can you ask your doctor about this specifically?

I definitely feel "pain" when I do VED, but that is more pain related to my tissue not expanding bc of scar tissue and that tightness (I think?).  VED should be similar to an erection in reality, so what you are saying is you have "nerve pain" when you get erections... Is this true for your erections as well?

It could also be the acute phase where you have pain.  Nerve pain vs tissue pain, we're getting into semantics but I think it's important. Nerve damage vs tissue damage is a non-peyronies vs peyronies problem.

Hi, thanks for your response. I say it's nerve pain on the grounds that it feels like a deep throb that I can't initiate by touching the plaque. But really I don't know what I'm talking about (although have had nerve pain from sciatica for many years). My penis feels and looks like it's twisted a little so maybe associated to this. The pain is there when flaccid and worse following intercourse but not noticable when using the VED or with erection. If anything the VED feels like it makes it better momentarily.
