Hi, I hope someone can help me.
Im 58 and have had erectile issues for a few years now. Sex with the Mrs has all but dried up because of it but it is a loving and supportive relationship. I have Viagra from an online chemist which I use very  occasionally.
About a week ago I noticed a strange sensation in my penis and when preparing to masturbate I noticed the end of my penis was bent upwards quite noticably. I've also got a burning sensation when its flaccid.
Given what I've read on here I'm pretty convinced it's Peyronies Disease and I'm horrified that masturbating while not fully erect over time may have caused it.
I would like to know if anyone can recommend a urologist in the UK that specialises in Peyronies Disease, and any initial advice as I'm aware best outcomes can be helped by treatment/actions in the acute phase.
58 Yr old, married.
Peyronies, 45% upwards bend 1/3 from end
Pain went after 1.5 Wks.
On Tamoxifen and Tadalafil, using VED and manual traction.

Hi  C999,

I don't know whereabouts in Britain you are but if you are within striking distance of London then prof.David Ralph is a very highly regarded expert on Peyronies Disease. He can be found at UCL and deos both private and NHS work.

I am nit qualified ti advjse you but i shall let you know what I did in case it is of help.

Book an appointment with your GP ASAP. This will help with obtaining a referral to a Urologist.
If you have private health insurance, find and book a Urologist who specialises in Peyronies Disease
Start finding out as much as possible from older posts. As a result of doung that I discovered the potential benefits of supplements such as L-citrulline and pycnogenal. In addition, i saw rhat VED and Traction was beneficial.
You can get a  VED on the NHS via your GP. Speak to the medical reps at the Soma distributors in Watford.
Get the ball rolling as soon as you can is what ki would advise.

Thats great, many thanks. Do you know if I would need a referal from my own GP?

Does anyone have an opinion on whether it would be a good idea to kick off some VED or traction in the mean time?

I'm looking at about a 45% upwards angle on the last 1/3 of my penis.

Thats great advice, many thanks. So pleased I found this forum, I dont feel so alone with this now.
London is do-able. Ill ask about NHS waiting lists but suspect I'll end up paying for it.
Ive got a phone consultation with a doctor tomorrow so that should get things going and ill ask about getting a VED.
I'll look into the supplmements too.
