Since Peyronie's started for me I have been taking Tadalafil 5 mg in the evening. It has a least not worsened my plaques and boosted my confidence in terms of night time erections and so on. Still, I wonder about taking it for a long time, eg possible side effects using it over years. Are there members using it for let's say more than 5 years? Did you experience any side effects in the long run? I was also wondering why some here take 2.5 mg. Is it because of side effects with 5 mg or just to save money?

This is really bad to hear. Did you have any early warning signs?
@ Monty, were you able to regain your hearing as before?

it takes time to realise you're hearing is going, think it is listed as a side affect, reduced to 10 mg, but no reaction to this, so don't take any now and my hearing returned in about 6 weeks.

take Cialis for nearly 5 Years now daily 2.5 to 5 mg - where in the first 4 Years i took the 5 mg dosage.
have no side effects like hearing issue or others - so cant confirm that this is an issue according to cialis (in my case).

I 'm only reduced to 2.5 mg because i realized that this seemed to be enough (concerning NTE and Erections Quality over all).

Maybe i have to add that i use - took cialis in the Morning and Trazodone (25 to 50 mg) bevor going to sleep for NTE - which work really good for me.

I often heard that there will be a time when the body gets used to PDH and thus it will no longer work concerning Erections.
I can not confirm this in my case either.
I assume for people where ist does not work anymore , the underliyng Problem is the reason (maybe an venous leak thats gotten worser over time or something else).

5mg here off and on, mostly on for 2-1/2 years. No issues to speak of. I asked my doctor, Dr. Mulhall about long term use of it and he said he's been on it regularly for the last 10 with no issues and also said there actual non-Peyronies Disease benefits to being on it long term for men. I don't remember what he said they were but i took his word for it.

I was using it for psychological ED, not physical ED. Still do.
Peyronies diagnosed at age 40. 23 degree upward curve, 1/2 to an inch loss in length and some girth. 2.5-5mg Cialis daily. Staying alive.

Some people have a good response to trazodone for erections. It can even cause priapism in some people.
Snake Diet + 5-day fasts + pentox + NeoV's stretching routine + Mito Red Light. Curvature 99% gone.

I also used Todd Capistrant's "Fascial Distortion Model" to help my curvature. Start slowly.

I've been taking Cialis (Tadalafil) for quite a while myself, and so far, it's been effective without any serious issues. Like you, I use it primarily for maintaining stronger erections, which has definitely helped boost confidence, especially at night. Long-term use is a common concern, but in my experience, there haven't been any major side effects over the years—just the occasional mild headache or stuffy nose, which tends to fade as my body got used to it. As for the 2.5 mg dose, I've noticed that some people switch to it either to minimize these side effects or as a cost-saving option since even that lower dose can be effective.
