Reinjury... what immediate steps can I take?

Hello Forum,

I am about 6 years don't the Peyronie's path. I had had a really good couple of years with no set backs. I was very sexually active again with multiple partners without issue.

Then BAM. I am on a first date the other night that was going well. We went back to her place. It went well. She takes me to bed. I let her on top from the beginning. She rides me hard and I hear some weird noises but thought it just to be the sound of the condom. That was five days ago and I am dealing with significant pain since.

It is at the base on the left side. I am back on Pentox. What else can I be doing? Diet? Exercise? More meds? Should I avoid masturbation and sex entirely?

I am really depressed and feel the physical pain constantly. I want to believe it is in my head, but I know it is not. I don't want to go without sex for too long. I was set to see an old lover soon. I am worried that this could be a big set back that will cause severe deformity moving forward.

I am trying to accept what has happened. I know we can't go back in time. But how long can I expect this pain to last? Days, weeks, or months? It has been a couple years since I have been back in this position.

Appreciate any advice on treatment and coping. Like I said, it is at the left base where the reinjury has occurred.

Thank you.

What is in injury exactly? If you heard a sound go to the doctor asap that is best possible advice. Please do that immediately a sound usually means go to the doctor

What can the doctor do? I have never been helped really by the doctor in all the years. Just feels like wasting money. I have some dull pain at the base on the left. Just feels like a mild tissue injury. Does Kratom help?

Doctor: can help diagnose if you have a fracture or break.  Just rule that out with a visit.

Then after that I'd say hop into VED. I'm a huge huge proponent of VED. Really think it helps give you erections which is the most natural way of stretching and strengthening/straightening your penis.  VED VED VED!

Kratom helped me with blood flow.  I was on the regimen posted in our forum using l-argnine, citruline, cialis.  It worked well, but I had some weird side effects (probably from overdoing it) where my muscles would spasm when exercising.  Kratom actually brought back my erections with cialis, and it was awesome. I'm an idiot and tried to push it with sex and masturbation and had a setback, but Kratom worked for me really well. Even more than the erections, kratom really helped me with my mood and calmed down my depression/anxiety. Now its not really fool-proof: I have weird dreams/nightmares, which really f*$#ing sucks, but I get the same thing from melatonin, so it may have to do with my psychotic self  ;D.

I would say to try it and see if you get an erection or if you feel your mood improve. There are places all around the country where you can walk into Kava/Kratom bars and its a fun time (so its completely a legal substance).

I went to the doctor. Total waste of money.

Said it was not a fracture. But a micro injury that he called a contusion.

Advised ibuprofen. Said pentox or anything else was really not necessary. Advised to give sex and masturbation a rest for a week and then to ease back in slowly.

Doctors really don't understand this disease. Every appointment I have ever been to I have been left feeling like they really don't understand the dynamic nature of the changes and injuries. At least it feels good to talk about it with someone in person who recognizes my pain.

But they tend to believe it is just psychological. Which it is not. I have real physical pain from this reinjury. Just because there is no bruising or other physical presentation when flacid doesn't mean crap. Could have saved my money (which is in very low supply).

Bud luck

RichardWilson, Are you using the VED daily?, Is it helping you with the dent? Is it helping you with erections?. I was using the VED until Dr Trost told me not to use it.
My first symptoms started early in 2019
I tried Traction device, Pentofixiline, Q10, TRT, L-Argenine, cialis
I have narrowing/dent/hinge on the left side of my shaft
My ED is getting worse
Had a PRP shot Aug 2021
I have a girlfriend
Age 46

I did at first. I'm also a lazy SOB and sometimes don't feel like doing VED when I should.  But I think if I pumped everyday slightly I would expedite my healing.

VED when I first got injured absolutely took me from not being able to get an erection at all to being able to get something. And it only improved from there. But I saw 0 progress for 8 months until I hit VED, then 1 month later VED helped bring back blood flow (along with L-argnine, L-citruline, Cialis, etc.)

If you suspect Peyronie's again, try watching the following video by Dr Trost on managing its acute phase:
