Has anyone had a experience where they took cialis, it worked for a few days snd then stopped working?

A day after taking it i got a really strong erection and erections were good for a few dsys but then the EQ dropped off massively.

Have been quite stressed recently so wondering if its possibly anxiety. I mean the cialis worked initially so that has to be a good sign?

Can anyone shed light? Thanks in advance

I'm neither a urologist nor a pharmacist but there are a few things to consider here.  First, why you were prescribed Cialis?  Second, what is your dosage?

If you were prescribed Cialis to increase blood flow to the penis as part of therapy for Peyronie's and not specifically for ED, then your dosage is probably daily and small, like 2.5mg.  On the other hand, if it was intended specifically for ED, it would be more typical to have a dosage like 10mg, but to take the pill an hour before sex, and not daily.

Still, some men prefer a small dose daily so they have a stronger erectile reaction 24 hours a day, giving more spontaneity than having to take a pill before sex.  There is no set rule here; each person needs to try and see what works best.

If your dosage is to form a part of Peyronie's treatment, you can still take a larger dose before sex, assuming you are also having ED.
This is far as I can go without the answers to the two questions at the top of my post.

After my injury, just over a year ago, my eq diminished severely. It then seemed to improve so I did nothing but then it got worse again.

Have hinging effect at base so did research and learned about Peyronies Disease. Uro told me after a quick examination that he doesn't think its Peyronies Disease cos he doesn't feel the plaque. But I've heard other testimonials here which said the same.

He prescribed me daily cialis to see and literally the next day i had a great erection. Was getting good erections for a couple of days and then they stopped again.

Was really pleased with the erections but now I'm despondent again. Hoping it may be slightly psychological and that I'll be able to get over it

Hi again, I still would like to know the dosage of your daily Cialis.  2.5mg? 5mg?
And is there any reason why you would want to take it every day instead of just taking it an hour before sex?

You seem to be implying that your injury was caused by a cock ring -- can you confirm this?  You haven't given any detail about the injury so it's difficult to tell if the injury could have caused Peyronie's.  But more to the point, you haven't told us if you actually have symptoms of Peyronie's such as a bend, an indentation, hourglassing, hinging, etc.

If your inquiry is purely about EQ and ED, this forum may not be ideal for you as our focus is really Peyronie's Disease.
So let us know if you have any reason to believe you actually do have Peyronies Disease.

Sorry, should have mentioned i started on 2.5 mg per day and then decided myself to go to 5 when i wasnt happy with the results.

When using the cock ring it was too tight and my penis lost its erection and fell to the left.

Since then eq has diminished or else ive not been able to get one. My penis seems to have twisted at base and have  hinging effect unless i get rock hard which is a challenge.

Based on what ive read onnthis VED may be my next step to take.

Any advice?

Hi Dangerreid,
Thanks for the additional information.  So it sounds as if you injured yourself with the ring, and are now using Cialis as a way to achieve better blood flow to the penis.  Personally I have no experience with VED but maybe others on the forum do, but I suppose it's possible that things that work for Peyronie's may help you too.
However I would still just like to point out that your issue doesn't sounds like Peyronie's.  Your urologist also doesn't think it is either.  In any case, I will leave your posts as is for now, and maybe someone else on the forum can give you advice.  I wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery.
