Hello everyone im 20 yrs old, i've been doing prone mastrubation from when i was a child (rubbing penis on matters) and left it about 5-6 months ago. when i started doing hand practice, i noticed a curve about 20-30 deg(no pain or swelling at this time) and on late december i came across the term peyronies, googled it out and was freaked out. I got an erection and tried to shape it straight is should say and after a few minutes there was mild swelling on the base of my penis and mild pain. i told my dad about it and about my curved penis he said it's nothing, but i convinced him for a visit to urologist, till now i've been to 2 urologist and they told its normal, it is a problem if the curve is more than 30degs and the only option is surgery. It's been one month since i've noticed pain and mild swelling i think it's the acute phase.. i can also feel a bump at the right side base of my penis(flaccid) and a band of hard tissue when erect.. now everyone in my family knows about my condition because of my depressed state... i'm emotionally unstable from the past one month and even now my eyes are full of tears because of the guilt and frustration i have for myself, what have i done, i want to just tear myself apart. Please guys help me out.. what should i do to improve my condition🙏 and sorry for my bad english

Guy27, I can't say for certain if you have Peyronies Disease or not (no one can diagnose you over the internet), but even if you do, your current curvature is within the range of "normal" curvature, and shouldn't be a problem for intercourse.

I know worrying about Peyronie's is horrible, but I think you will have to give it time. The pain of Peyronies Disease almost always goes away with time, and so long as you don't treat your penis roughly in masturbation or sex, there is a very good chance it will not get any worse than it is now, and perhaps may even reduce in curvature somewhat.

However, if it doesn't change one bit and remains just as it is, you should be able to have a successful and fulfilling sex life with that curvature.

Hope this is some help,
nemo
51 yrs. old, multiple auto-immune conditions. First episode of Peyronies Disease in 2002. Recurred a couple times since. Over the years I have tried Topical Verapamil, Iontophoresis, all the supps and Cialis + Pentoxifylline. Still functional, always worried.

Thanks nemo, what are the meds you would suggest for stopping the progression of my case?

I've always said that if masturbation causes Peyronies, then EVERY male on earth would likely have some case of it. As Nemo already stated your curve somewhat appears congenital, so is really not determined if this is Peyronies or not. It is certainly within the range of normal and I would not worry at this point. It is something you can track and monitor at this point.

Totally agree with LWillis. If masturbation caused Peyroines every man on the planet would have. And they don't all have it. Yes, watchful waiting is a good idea. It could just be congenital.
63, Peyroines since 2014, no ED, lost relationship over it. Tried Pentox, did nothing. Don't think traction will work. Lost length, bend upward maybe 30 degrees. From Jever, Germany
