Hey,

I'm trying to make a decision on a surgical treatment.

I have 30 degree upward curvature and a small dent which doesn't bother me much.

I'm 30 years old.

I don't suffer from Erectile Dysfunction and I hardly feel any pain.

My length is good but I'm afraid that if I get the nesbit I'll be left with not much.

I've been offered the Lue procedure or I can get the stage (Has anyone had the stage? How much length did you lose?)

One urologist told me to just live with it.

If anyone could help me try figure what is a good idea , I'd appreciate it a lot.

I've been doing traction (for 7-8 months at least) with VED + pentoxifylline but I just can't live my life doing this nonstop.

I was 45 degree before! so the traction did help a lot but I don't see any improvements anymore. I have had peyronie's for around 9-10 months so I won't be having surgery until June maybe but ideally I want to start working towards something.

I spoke with somebody and they said after using PMP for 6-8 months you'll see the results then and they won't get better after that so I've stoped.

I'm not a Doctor or an expert, but if I was you I won't do anything, in the Peroynes world consider yourself lucky, I wish I had what you have.
My first symptoms started early in 2019
I tried Traction device, Pentofixiline, Q10, TRT, L-Argenine, cialis
I have narrowing/dent/hinge on the left side of my shaft
My ED is getting worse
Had a PRP shot Aug 2021
I have a girlfriend

Many men have congenital curves of 25-30 degrees. 30 degree upward curve is fine. I would not risk surgery for that.

My curve is less than yours, but mine is to the side and this is a problem.
If I were you, I would ask myself some very tough questions about why you are considering surgery.  While an upward curve may not work well in some positions, it should not be a deal-breaker for vaginal insertion.  In fact your dick may even hit a woman's G-spot better than a straight one.  You say your size is find and you have no ED and no pain, and your urologist told you to live with it.
So is there a problem?  Do you have difficulty with insertion in sex, or does your sexual partner not like the angle?  Or do you just not like the way it looks?  We don't need to know all the details, but as one other poster in this thread said, a lot of guys in this forum wish they had a dick like yours.  I agree with stopping the therapy and the drugs if it's stabilized.  The more important question is, do you really have a physical problem, or is this something that's bothering you due to psychological reasons?  If so, I would suggest that surgery would be worse, because you will do something irreversible and not even address the real cause of your distress.

I hope that I am not being insensitive because it is of course very troubling for you. However, I have to thank you for motivating me because if I can get from 45 or 50 degrees to 30 as you have without surgery  I shall be extremely pleased.

Hey,

I'm sorry that you wished you had my curvature. Maybe I can suggest a few things that I do that help me mentally? I appreciate your comment.

 So is there a problem?

Mainly, I'm scared that I might damage it again. I've refrained from sex for the last 8-9 months now (Somehow my GF has stayed with me lol). This disease has traumatized me to the point where I'm afraid to use it again. I do agree, women might enjoy it more. Do you know how likely it is to damage yourself again after its become stable? I just thought having surgery would prevent me from future damage?

Ahh.. well, I'm glad you can take some positively out of this. I would suggest doing traction for 6 months then after, combine it with VED.
And that's traction on high intensity (I used PMP)

If anyone is reading this and wants some advice on traction, here are some things (FROM MY EXPERIENCE)

*You will probably have day's when you really don't want to do it. Say f**k it, I have to do it.
*Please don't give up half way while using it (3 months in)..
*Learn to use it! and research it < so important.
*Try not to move around. AVOID WALKING AROUND with it on.
*Don't do traction for a month and get an erection and expect a result.. you will just get disheartened and give up.
*YOU CAN have a break for a few days.
*Go out! meet people.. stimulate your mind.
*Stop Masturbating.. Probably increase your chances of ED. Let your penis get stimulated through the mind. It's hard.. but I was actually doing this through mediation funny enough but you have to get yourself super relaxed and control yourself.

If knocking 15 degrees off my curvature is inspiring then here are a few things above.

Also, using traction, I saw that my girth decreased... which is deceiving.. I wasn't losing girth, it's just I was stretching it out a lot! After a couple days, blood was filled again.. hence why I suggest using traction first then VED... get your p**** stretched out for months then use VED (You'll see some nice results)

Also.. doing traction is mentally challenging. I would suggest diving into spiritually. Mediation helps.. try finding ways to get out of your body. Visualization, of thinking that you will see improvements MORE than checking your penis for results if that makes sense.

Thanks for your advice Rica. I am using the VED already. My mate Monty straightened his old chap using the VED and manual traction. I know the general concensus for PMP is to use it for hours every day. However, even shorter periods must be an improvement over hand traction. I have to say that the PMP is a daunting prospect. RestoreX might suit my mental abilities better so might order that instead.

Hey! amazing.. was he using RestoreX? And how long did that take him?

Good to hear!! Yea, I did do hand traction for a little while when I stopped using PMP.

Yea, I mean... PMP is expensive also.. bought so many lubrications & those latex things.

I'm in the UK so we don't have RestoreX here.

When I said this, I meant because I was losing the plot.. getting frustrated and angry. Not to do with Peyronies Disease.

There is no need to avoid sex. You just need to be careful and make sure you are fully erect. Which means no sex when drunk or going for round 2 or 3. With your penis fully erect should avoid any damage from trauma.

I shall let Monty respond to that but if you look at his profile you will see his inspiring story

Same here! I am near London with regards to urologists within my (geographical and not price) range.
I have opened an account with Stackry which I am on the verge of using to get one shipped over here. I am not sure whether I understand it completely to be honest and 5 or 6 hundred Pounds is a fair bit to gamble with.

Good to know and very encouraging considering a seventy degree curve. Thanks for posting that :)

I just checked out his profile. Looks like he was doing hand traction and it had taken him 18 weeks.

I will try this now because I've hardly used the VED.

Thank you!

Interesting.. why not twice? Are you straight from surgery may I ask? How often do you think I could have sex?

And... say I keep doing VED and become straighter, would the chances of injury decrease?

Note that you've been Peyronie's free for a long time which is pretty good so you have experience.

Thank you!!!

Rica I owed you an answer to your question:

Well, the answer is, no one knows for sure exactly why it got damaged in the first place, and what might damage it again.  However, in my own experience, and from what I read frequently on this Forum, once you're stabilized and your curve is ingrained, it's not necessarily any weaker than it was before.  Some good advice was to take it easy a bit with sex:  no acrobatics or positions  where your partner is putting a lot of bending force on you.  No sex when drunk, as you may be softer than you want and you're just jamming it in when it's not hard enough to support itself.  And sadly perhaps, don't push it too much trying for shot number two or shot number three, unless you're really properly hard as a rock.
I would just treat it with care for a while and gradually build your confidence back again before you start trying to f--- like a porn star.

Also glad to hear that your GF stayed with you despite your mental anguish, and I hope you continue to stay happy together.
