I did something to my penis in late october, not sure what. I used to masturbate 4-5 times a week, then my libido dropped significantly. I waited a week as I had no drive to masturbate, then attempted it. I could not get fully erect and eventually gave up. The next day, I developed hard flaccid. Ever since, I've had a left banana-like curve both flaccid and erect which can change dramatically (anywhere from no curve to 45 degrees soft; anywhere from 10-20 degrees erect) with an indentation along the left side. I've had very little pain, just the occasional "tight" feeling and discomfort when its bent in an awkward way. I can feel a tic-tac like bump on the underside of my penis and can be felt through the corona. For that reason, it doesn't seem a plaque to me, as it also changes size. The earliest uro appointment I could get is April. The biggest symptoms I'm experiencing is hard flaccid and bad ED. It also fills up really weird, curving dramatically while semi-erect then straightening out when fully erect. Really not sure what to do here.

Well robotguy, you've done the right thing by getting an appointment with a urologist, but keep trying and see if you can get one sooner.
Hard Flaccid Syndrome (HFS) is a very complicated condition and cannot be diagnosed without proper examination by a urologist, and it's not necessarily related to Peyronie's Disease either.  The causes of HFS can be neural, vascular, psychological, or all of the above.
I'm no psychologist, but the fact that you masturbated regularly but then suddenly lost the desire would suggest that something has changed for you emotionally.  If you remember no physical trauma then psychological or emotional causes seem even more likely.  In any case, HFS is not Peyronie's so you may not even belong on this forum (not that I will kick you off).  By the way, have you looked at    https://www.hardflaccidinfo.org/  ?  You might find some useful information there while you search for a quicker urologist appointment.  And when you do get to the urologist's, do make sure the doctor is willing to discuss any possible psychological and emotional aspects of your symptoms.
Good luck!

Thank you for the advice. I tried everything to get an earlier appointment, but its still set for April. In the case this is peyronies, what would be the right thing to do in this stage of development? I feel like its pretty early on, so Id like to take the necessary precautions to do damage control and such. I know you might say its up to a urologist, but theres so many different opinions out there. Id like to know what a moderator of this forum thinks.

When I was first diagnosed with peyronies my urologist would not do anything treatment for two years.  He said he had to make sure it was stable.  It was a long two years, then was treated with xiaflex and had great results.  When my peyronies first started my erection look like a hook.  Now my errection is almost straight again.  But I did loose about a 1/2 inch in length.

Hey robotguy, every case is different so I can't say what your doctor might recommend if he does decide you have Peyronie's.  I'm not a doctor, and of course I haven't examined you, but as a moderator one thing I can say is that whether you actually have Peyronie's or not, working to improve your physical and mental condition as much as possible - but of course without letting this become a cause for stress - will help you combat the disease.

FORGIVE ME if you already tick all the following boxes, but just as basic health and physical maintenance measures:
If you drink a lot of alcohol or take drugs, reduce both to as moderate a level as possible, or to zero.  Cut down on caffeinated drinks too; moderate coffee or tea in the morning is fine but reduce or cut them out after you finish your lunch.
If you smoke cigarettes, stop immediately, right now, throw all your cigarettes and ashtrays in the garbage can and never ever look back again.
If you are sedentary or overweight, get fit and lose as much weight as you can, by adding a combination of a healthy diet and moderate exercise to your daily routine.
I do not recommend keto, primitive, vegan, or any fad diets.  Just eat less animal fat, more vegetables, eat unsweetened yogurt with live culture, cut out all junk foods especially sodas and sweetened drinks, eat fruit instead of sweets, avoid deep fried foods, trans fats, eat fresh vegetables instead of canned or frozen, avoid fatty meats altogether, -- just try to clean up your body from the inside out.  Eat three meals a day.

If you do all these things, you will be healthier, fitter, and you will sleep better.  None of these things will cure Peyronie's but all of them will help keep you healthy and sane.  The word "sane" comes from the Latin sanus which means healthy.  Physical health and mental sanity are connected!  Both of them will help you combat the emotional effects of Peyronie's.
If you are lagging on any of the recommendations above, make it your personal project to improve.

Also, please update your profile as per the instructions for new joiners to the forum.

And that's my two cents as a moderator.
Regards,

I vape, is nicotine itself bad for peyronies or are you just talking about the negative effect nicotine has on your emotions? Also, how do you feel about the recent claims by many of fasting and carnivore diets helping peyronies tremendously?

Hi robotguy - sorry for long delay in response.  I've been tied up with work and personal for a few days.

On your vaping question, I am going to be very clear.  In the 1930s and 1940s tobacco companies advertised that cigarettes were good for you.  There are famous old ads saying "Doctors recommend Winston".  The tobacco companies lied to the world for decades, claiming that cigarettes were not harmful.  The Surgeon General's report of 1968 sent a shockwave around the world because for the first time the medical authority of a country laid it on the line:  cigarettes cause cancer.   For decades after that, the tobacco industry fought and scammed and lied through their teeth, saying there was no proof.  They ended up being sued, and finally, in the 1990s, the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement was signed.  The tobacco industry was required to pay $9 billion every year in perpetuity, and has so far paid close to $200 billion, to make up for all the sickness and death tobacco causes.

The reason I have regaled you with this history is that tobacco companies are now playng EXACTLY the same game with e-cigarettes, heated tobacco products (HTPs) and vaping.  There is simply not enough research available yet to prove that these products also damage health.  So the tobacco companies sit back and say, "they're safer than cigarettes.  If you think they're harmful, prove it!".  The fact is, vaping contains hundreds of chemicals that will make you sick and can give you cancer.  Vaping may not be as bad as smoking Camels, but it is NOT GOOD FOR YOU.  I can't say whether or not vaping will make Peyronie's worse, but it will make your health worse, that's for sure.  So don't be fooled by the tobacco companies' propaganda.  Vaping isn't safe.

Next:  as for claims by people on various extreme or fad diets, I would be very surprised if they would actually help Peyronies.  I wouldn't think that anything other than a balanced diet of fresh unprocessed foods, with minimal animal fat and sugar, is actually good for the body.  However, eating is a very personal thing.  If some guy feels that he's stronger and more virile because of his carnivore diet, and that makes him feel emotionally good, then it stands to reason that his erections could be stronger and more frequent.  But I think the psychological aspect is probably more significant than the diet itself.  Have you ever seen a horse's cock?  Note that horses eat hay.  They wouldn't eat meat if you forced them.  Okay, people aren't horses, but while you can damage your health by eating crap food, I don't believe there are any miracle foods which will make you bigger, stronger, or happier just by themselves.
