Best ved for eliminate hourglassing?
« on: January 09, 2022, 11:10:02 PM »

Just wanted to know the best ved for eliminating hourglassing and what everyones recommended protocol is.

Ive heard the water based pumps are safer and better and that they can be conjoined with warm water to do thermotherapy on the penis at the same damn time. Sounds brilliant.

I dont want to injure myself so Ill put this post out there in hopes people can help me navigate.

Best,
Westy

I use the SOMA-Correct 3-cylinder model. It's pretty good - just do one less pump than you think you need. Trust me, less is more when it comes to VED. It's about drawing new, oxygenated blood into the penis, NOT about pumping your dick to the max.

Thanks, westerntown, for your post, which I'm sure will draw more useful replies.
I noticed that you put "suicidal" in your profile.  While this forum does not offer psychiatric treatment, I think all of us would recommend that if you are truly feeling suicidal at any time you should seek the help of a mental health professional, or even a suicide help line.  It's common for otherwise normal people to sometimes suffer from suicidal feelings; it's nothing to be embarrassed by.  But it is something that you should deal with, just like you wouldn't drive a car with a loose steering wheel.  I urge you to get help specifically for the suicidal feelings.  Peyronie's can be heartbreaking, but it's not a death sentence.

Hi Kirai,

I appreciate you reaching out to me, however I definitely agree to disagree. I never came to the forum requesting any psychiatric treatment. I solely use this forum as a medical board and just that. I agree that putting the word "suicidal" in my bio is counterintuitive to idea and thus, it has been removed.

It is important to realize that many that are "suicidal" have exasperated all those options. Ive sat on the suicide hotline, Ive been seeing a psychologist, even communicate how I am feeling to my closest loved one- friends, family, and girlfirend. While I am not emberassed by the disease, I am saddened by it for the simple fact that it brings me physical pain and discomofrt 24/7 and the inability to engage in one of the actions I love-sex. At the age of 20, I certainly feel robbed of the sex I should be having and have turned down mcuh already in the 1.5 years that I have had this. For others, sex may not be a dealbreaker, but for myself it most certainly is.

Thats why I came to this forum to ask for hourglassing. SO that I can get my penis healthy again in order to have sex. I came to the forum to get MEDICAL advice that will lead to me helping the symptoms that bring me Psychological pain.. It is a death sentence.. if you are someone who is ambitious and wants the best for themself... then it is a death sentence if you try as hard as you can to make things right and still there are no results... what other option do you have? To make peace with peyronies at 20 and never have sex again. live with a constant buckling flaccid hourglass and nerve impingement and discomfort like a dog in a pound?

I dont mean to be coming at you but I think indeed that this disease is very different at different stages of life. I am in college and yet- the world has robbed me of this pleasure of sex and the sensations and euphoria that come along with it at such a damned young age, and I am supposed to take it on the chin and forget about it? No, I must do everything in my power to get better- which includes coming to this forum and asking questions about VEDs and implants like the forum was intended to do. This forum IS my therapy. I take solace in the action of trying to better my situation- not just make peace with it.

I know for a fact peyronikirai that if you were me, you would feel the same- and you probably do. I just think that for someone who is 20- what good does a life live you filled with chronic pain and lack of sexual euphoria that you so desperately desire.

Well, I know what comes next. You will try to navigate around that ugly truth and explain to me the great spoils of life outside your penis. Bit pause for one second, and do truly pause here:

I didnt ask for this condition, and neither did you, so why were we the ones bestowed upon it? It is because it is our duty, divinely ordained, to find the answer. It is MY DUTY to solve hourglassing. It is my duty to do these things. It was not bestowed upon me to live a life of misery and make comfort with that misery. I was bestowed upon me so that future generations do not need to suffer like the way I have. And THAT is what brings me comfort: trying to fix things for not just myself, but for the millions of other 20 year old guys in my reddit inbox flipping out and looking up to ME. Yes i am a fully functioning suicidal person. But i am here on this forum to curb that craving with the food that is knowledge on healing this mess, strictly physically. Anyways, this is probably gonna get taken down by mods by I hope that somenody out there is at least inspired.

I hear you westerntown, loud and clear.  No quibbles with what you're saying.
I appreciate your explanation and thank you for removing the S word from your profile.  I also understand how you would consider me, a guy who got Peyronie's at 60, as someone who is much less unfortunate than yourself.  That is a fair view on your part so I won't argue.

Please also understand my position as a moderator in the forum.  If I see a young guy speaking even indirectly about killing himself, I will try to talk him down from the ledge.  It's my duty as a moderator, but also as a human being with feelings.  So please trust me that there was no disrespect and no belittling involved.  I wasn't suggesting you "take it on the chin" either.

Welcome to the forum and I hope we can all help you help yourself, as you have vowed to do.  I am certainly not here to censor your posts so don't worry about mods taking it down just because you're expressing yourself honestly.

It was heartfelt and passionate exchange. not much was done on the VED front, but i think it was a necessary comment from you to invoke me with feelings that came with my explanation. it certainly wasnt a bad thing. I felt empowered writing that, as you can see from the replacement of the S word with the A word

the A word is here to stay my friend. ;)

Hi there westerntown,

I am in a very similar situation like you: a young guy who is still trying to finish a university and then there is this disease that causes so much misery and pain, also preventing from having basic pleasures of daily life. I also had a very similar explanation of all this ridiculous spectacle of misery like the one you mentioned. And I really hope it will get better for you, and you will be able to have at least some form of normal life.

Has there been any progress with ved for eliminating hourglassing? I have an hourglass indentation on the left side of my penis and so want to try VED therapy as well.

I have the Bathmate VED, I bought it to correct my hourglass/dent/narrowing. I was using it until Dr Trost told me that he doesn't recommend it but do traction instead, meanwhile other "specialists" highly recommend it. When it comes to our disease NOBODY is an expert, you are on your  own, it may work for you or may won't
