Hi,
My name is Ignacio (52). I've had Peyronie's Disease for about 10 years now. It's upper bend, 45 degrees (more or less). The scar is almost below the glans. I don't have many issues having sex. I've lost about 4 or 5 cm. in length, and have almost no sensitivity in the glans.
My issues are more psychological than physical. I used to have a healthy 18 cm penis, and now it's maybe 13 cm long, plus I'm fat and have some FUPA (Fat in the Upper Pelvic Area) so, when not erect, I feel like Leslie Chow (Dr. Ken Jeong) in Hangover III.
I've always been curious about the outcomes of surgical procedures (grafting). I'd like to hear some personal experiences about that topic. If anyone could point me to ongoing topics on the subject, it'll be much appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome Don,

I hope you find the psychological support and the information you seek here.  If not here I don't know where else you could find it.  By the way, your English is remarkable if it is not your first language.

First, let's address a few basics.  Since you have dealt with Peyronies Disease for ten years some of this won't apply to you but you will surely find some useful information in our Survival Guide.

Next, it is crucial you fill out your signature line because with 20,000 members there is no other way to keep up with the details of your case.

You are allowed ten replies in your intro topic then it is locked.  Topics on other boards are unlimited. Some members might comment here about the surgery but here is the main surgical discussion board for Peyronies Disease.  Some of it deals with plication which you definitely want to avoid. Some men here like LWillisJr have had great success with excision/grafting.  Others have not and wish they had gone to an implant immediately.

Another option that you will instinctively want to avoid BUT which offers real benefits that new members don't grasp is the implant board.LINK-->  https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/board,56.0.html

I had incision and grafting to try and correct a 90 degree curve, but ended up with 45 degree residual curve and erectile disfunction.

So I would say if you can have intercourse I would leave any type of surgery well alone.

To be honest, tue way I feel at the moment (regular pain in the penis similar to someone gently squeezing my testicle all the time) I've been Googling a knobesctomy!

Hi, Mark
Thank you for your reply, and sorry to hear that.
Yes, erectile disfunction is my greatest fear and the only thing refraining me from doing it. The kind of sincere and straightforward answer you gave me is what I was expecting. The clinics usually publish their success rates, but no follow-ups. Thank you again.
