For those of you who are unaware, epididimytis is basically inflammation of a part of a testicle causing inflammation and making your balls and the epidemics attached it sore to touch.

There are two kinds, one caused by bacteria from STDs and those caused by some trauma. Usual treatments are anti inflammatory meds or hot bath and wearing supporting for underwear for the non bacterial cause.

Point I'm trying to make and ask thise with implants is, since I feel I have epididymitis making touching my balls sore sometimes, due to the post xiaflex scrotum swelling that happened 3 months ago. Since just an injection can cause this, don't all penile implant candidate also go through this when an implant pump is placed in your scrotum? I see implantees complaining about sore balls and pain in scrotum and discomfort.... almost all of you like to take hot water baths to ease discomfort of scrotum. So isn't this epididymitis you guys face ?

I do NOT think it is typical to have "sore balls" after an implant.  With a scrotal approach, the scrotum is cut and stretched enough to pace everything, including the reservoir, through a 1-inch scrotal incision.  It is incredible that men are not far sorer.  Also, the new pump is rubbing the inside of the scrotum, and then you are pressing on the sensitive skin with great force to pump the inflation bulb, so it is the scrotum that is sore far more than the testecles.

I had sensitive testicles from time to time, but I have small testicles and mine were mostly pain free. Perhaps if your testicles are large, this is creating more irritation.
Interesting I just had a visit with my urologist and he asked me if I have always had small testicles?
I said yes and low testosterone. He checked my prostate and commented about my unusually small prostate. He said recently he has been reading that men with low testosterone tend to have small prostates.
