"Return of the Plaque" after yearlong stable improvement post-Xiaflex

It's been awhile since I've posted here... I finished my 4 rounds / 8 shots of Xiaflex in early 2020 and for the last year and a half, I enjoyed a decent improvement. My curve and indentation reduced by half or more and I stopped worrying much about it.

I'm posting again to warn that I'm recently seeing a bit of a regression, and I believe it could be related to having discontinued my several times weekly maintenance regimen of low-dose Cialis and L-Citrulline. I thought it was no longer necessary, but it looks like it was helping preserve my results more than I thought.

*Sigh* I guess it's true that Peyronies is a naturally evolving condition and if you don't keep the blood flow strong down there, it may recur and set back your results. I just didn't think I needed to be on Cialis for basically the rest of my life to keep my improvement...

Has anyone else had a regression after a year or more of stable improvement from Xiaflex?

I can't give an answer since it has only been 3 months since my treatment ended but do you fo traction regularly like from a device like RestoreX?

Using RestoreX and Xiaflex injections
Taking coq10 with daily Cialis 5mg.

No, I have to admit that I didn't...  My doc didn't really recommend it strongly though did recommend hand modeling.

In the past I also worried that too much aggressive modeling could actually lead to more plaques. Things were maintaining fine with Cialis and Citrulline until I stopped using them a few months ago.

I see. If you stopped taking cialis , it would mean that your erections are naturally strong enough for satisfactory sex. In which case a lack of it, shouldn't explain a regression. Unless you had sex with a less than hard penis where your penis bent. Could you explain, what changes do you see ?

That's true--erections were sufficiently strong enough without it in general. What I meant is that I stopped taking Cialis regularly every other day or so as a "Peyronies Preventative," but I would still take it a couple times a month prior to sex when it was likely to happen... So more like normal Cialis usage and less like daily.

As far as changes, my curve had been reduced to around ten degrees post-Xiaflex, but now it's probably increased to fifteen or twenty. This is still better than my pre-Xiaflex curve of thirty-five degrees with hourglassing. The plaque causing the curve feels bigger and more prominent than it did when I was using Cialis regularly.

I really do not want to go through another course of Xiaflex, so for now I'm going back on regular Cialis, Citrulline, and trying light hand modeling.
