I bought a 3mhz ultrasound machine and am waiting for it to arrive (2 weeks).

I am asking how to use this safely. I have read to use the pulsed setting and to not use for too long? How long a session? How many sessions a day? Any general info or experienced people have using this?

I have one plaque and am in the acute stage. I have read about ultrasound breaking down plaque so am gonna keep my hopes up the best I can.

I strongly advise against you doing this. USWT even tho it is being used by some doctors, i am yet to see patients on the board saying they had inprovements on their condition.

Also the evidence on the medical papers isn't the greatest but it is out there, especially if you look on pubmed. Have you looked into the potential side effects of this? What if it goes wrong and your condition worsens?

Why would ultrasound worsen? It has been used for breaking up scar tissue, has it not? I've used it to heal from numerous injuries.

there are accounts of poeple having had their deformities worsened by doing USWT. If you search on pubmed you will find more evidence.

These are examining shockwave and I am talking about ultrasound. These are different treatments.
