Hi Friends. I have a question - who had experience with Dr. Amr Raheem and his International Andrology London? So, I haven't found too much information about him in the internet and frankly saying, he and his London's website and the website's testimonials looks a bit suspicious, so that's why decided to ask someone here about experience with this Doctor and his clinic? Thanks in advance. Sincerely.

Hi, again. So, in the search board of this main forum - I have found the mention about Dr. Amr Raheem and understood that he is useless and just a time waster. So, I have just found by myself the answer on my question. Moderators, could you please delete this my topic as I already found the answer and there is no «delete» button, unfortunately. Thanks in advance. Sincerely.

Hi Muttley, haha, not at all. I just put his name in a search board of this forum and found a summer topic of one british guy. According to his story, he had an injury and come to Dr. Amr Raheem. So, Mr Raheem seems just told him a general things about Peyronie and wasted his personal time as the british guy tried to find the second opinion. So, Mr. Raheem seems a time waster. By the way, I don't recommend London's Professor David Ralph (not a fashion designer Ralph Lauren, lol) because many people probably describes him as a rude professor and it seems that his website doesn't reply on a messages as I tried to write a few times and no results. So, I don't recommend european doctors, according to my personal experience. I think that The US Peyronie specialists can help somehow, because I periodically see a real reviews from a real patients who claim that had a good results and good experience from US doctors. In short, All the Best. Sincerely.

This is obviously a malevolent post as Raheem is one of the leading if not the leading Peyronie's doctor in UK. He is just not aggressive to just go with surgery like other doctors are. He has the highest number of Xiapex injections in Europe and has published the paper that changed the Xiapex protocol. So however you are neil_tenet I think you are s***tposting.

Well... Xiapex was discontinued in Europe for starters. Secondly... i was trying to verify that claim about Dr. Amr but i can't find more info on him administering Xiapex in the past. Could you kindly point me to them?

On a slightly separate note - if anyone is interested in Peyronies Disease specialist clinics in London I recommend Dr Sukhs Minhas and Mr Tet Yap's clinic London Andrology. They're also not that keen on surgery as a first line of treatment and provide advise and also administer Verapamil and PRP injections now that Xiaflex is indeed no longer available in Europe.

Mr Raheem certainly doesn't suggested surgery if you have mild Peyronie's.

Xiaflex with Mr Raheem is super expensive 6K£ per injection.

I do like Mr Raheem because he does have a calmer approach to treating his patients (if mild).

I think if your looking for an aggressive approach to tackling the condition, go see David Mills
at moortage andrology.

I understand you had a bad experience and really feel for you. I do not think it is fair though to say that all injections to the penis are bad just because you had an extremely negative reaction from one substance (Trimix) injected by one urologist. All injections, even if administered by a specialist, are associated with risks. This is true and people should be aware of this.

That said, there are plenty of people, both on the forum and outside, that have been helped by injections of Xiaflex, Interferon, Verapamil and PRP etc. It all depends on your specific case, any underlying conditions, the substance that is injected and who is injecting it.

I am simply providing information about what is available and then people can decide for themselves. It is great that people can share their experiences on the forum but the picture should be as nuanced as possible.

When I was investigating Egydio surgery, the International Andrology Centre popped and mentioned it. Mr. Raheem is listed but there was no mention of it against his profile.

I was interested to know if it was ever mentioned to you  or if anybody else has discussed this with them, It seems that the main person for this technique (Dr Franklin Keuhhas) was involved with setting the clinic up.

I am interested as I have seen a lot of posts which give me the impression that this is a good option and possibly better than the Nisbett procedure. I expect that the  advice would be to fly to Vienna and speak to the man himself but maybe he comes to London sometimes.

I am a long way off surgery but it is good to start lining one's ducks up :)

Hey,

I've asked Mr Raheem about this technique and he basically said it's the same as the lue procedure.

He is also the web site needs to be changed.

Online, it's says Xiaflex is 2.5K per injection. I've also complained to whoever is in charge but they haven't updated the web site.

Quite annoying to be honest because I was hoping that would be a decent surgery to get (according to their web site.)

Interesting Rica Thanks I shall look into that

Yes that is poor as the actual price you mentioned makes a big difference. Maybe they do not update it so that people are more likely to call them.

I thought that Xiaflex was not available here in England? Or is that a different but similarly named treatment?

I know, I think that's why they haven't changed their web site.

I mean, I've been there twice! So it's certainly generated money for them.

Especially shockwave therapy, I think everyone does shockwave therapy in desperation when they first find out they have Peyronie's.

Mr Raheem certainly does have Xiaflex but it's at 6K an injection. He recommended I have three! 18K !?

Haha.. have to laugh a little considering it's not 100% going to work, No idea who comes up with these prices.

You never know tho! Could do the trick. Just wished they were cheaper! And I believe they should be much cheaper considering there not guaranteed. That's the hardest thing about Peyronie's, nothing is 100% and anything that can highly help his super expensive! And low end market of treatment is extremely time consuming and mentally draining.

My personal experience is that VED and traction help.

All private UK urologist's offer different treatments which is confusing.

I think you've gotta decide what exactly you are willing to do + afford.

And if you are happy and can live with doing VED and traction then don't bother seeing a urologist unless you have some  sort of treatment your willing to do but even then they might say your Peyronie's is only mild which will take you back to traction and offer plication.

I had a thought and that was if a sergeant is confident and happy to answer questions you bring forward ( and record everything ) then you should be at ease a little.

Weird how no urologist's are ever confident enough to offer everything on their web site?

Shockwave therapy and any type of injection into the penis can make Peroynes worse and they are expensive.

When I first discovered I had it I was so relieved to see that (and injections actually)advertised. I thought 'great! soon have this fixed!'...then research revealed that it probably would not work for fixing curves/bends and that injections were hazardous.

Does anybody know if Dr. Franklin Keuhhas still works there? I think he might be only working form Vienna now.
