Hello everyone,

I am new here. I am very happy to have found such an amazing place as this one.

About me, I got my Peyronie's disease diagnosed by an urologist just today 27/10. Two months and a half ago I noticed some pain and hard tissue on the top part of my penis. I started worrying but decided to wait a bit (I never went to an urologist before and I was scared). Ten days ago I noticed how my penis got bent some 20 degrees upwards. I went to the urologist today and he told me I have a plaque 9mm wide and 6mm long. I was diagnosed with Peyronie's disease, he prescribed me Vitamin A+E and asked me to go to back in three months.

However after reading the forum I do not think that waiting 3 months just taking vitamins would be enough. I read the survival guide (made me feel way better about myself, thanks) and apart from improving my lifestyle I think that I should take some action. Do you recommend me to get a traction device at my stage? And in that case, what traction device has been proven to be the more effective?

Welcome to the forum Guillermo !  Thank you for filling in your signature line and keep on studying the survival guide.  You are in the right place for educating yourself on peyronies.  Here you can read success stories of what has worked for a lot of men and get valuable information on it.  I must tell you to not let your mind take you down the worry path.  You are here and have a Dr and have the information to glean from.

Many Dr's suggest starting gentle traction with a device in the acute stage.  This prevents shrinking and remodels the plaque somewhat.  Daily low dose Cialis helps also with erections and healing the penis tissues and heals inflammation. I would not recommend manual traction as you have no way to gauge it and could cause yourself more damage.  Heat therapy has also helped a lot of guys. There is a study regarding it that you can read. I have been using the PMP for almost a year now and I started it when I was in the acute stage. I have almost regained back my lost size and girth for using it.  It has also helped in the hardness of my erections.  Other men have used the Restorex with great success also - you just have to make a choice. I would also add that having a healthy lifestyle will also facilitate healing. Stopping smoking and eating ealthy and reducing alcohol is beneficial.  Search the forum and educate yourself - Good to have you here!

Thank you very much for your thorough response Mikel. It is very nice to read you and to see the wide experience you have about this topic. I am very happy to hear that you are improving significantly and that you are taking your recovery seriously.

I am planning on doing the same. Since I am in the acute stage I just bought the Penimaster Pro on their online webpage. I will have it in around fifteen days. I am looking forward to using it. I have also read about the heat therapy and I am planning on doing the same since I have seen that combined with the PMP has returned great results in your case. I also work from home which make things easier in that aspect. So my plan for the moment is Vitamin A+E, Heat and PMP. I will keep you guys updated with my results.

Also, if you do not mind I will ask you guys some doubts in case I receive the PMP and need some help setting it up the best possible way and optimizing its use.

The website has a lot of videos and I have posted some mods about using it.  When starting out there is a learning curve about what size sluices and diaphragms to use in combination. How much of their lube to use also. You will master it.
