Natural erection with implant

So I know the implant is pumped to inflate the penis for the erection. But doctor eid was saying that because I don't have severe Erectile Dysfunction that I will still get natural erections like if I was getting a blow job. Is this natural erection only in the tip of the penis or would everything fill out. This idea confused me because I thought with implants you lose the natural erection ability if you had any because the device is in place of that.  I know nothing is removed but I don't understand what is meant by that.

I just skimmed/fast read through this article, it answers your questions: https://www.nature.com/articles/3900979.pdf?origin=ppub

Results of study: 53% of patients (32 studied) had some form of erection after penile implantation without pumping.

Reasoning: the prosthesis causes the tissue that would normally expand with blood to be compressed (lack of space in penis), but not totally defunct.  "Hypothetically, spontaneous tumescence after penile prosthesis implantation could be explained by the elevated preload of likely compressed rather than destructed cavernous tissue that allows the easier induction of tumescence and erection."   Compressed but not destructed--therefore blood flow but not enough to erectify(?) the penis for intercourse  (one patient was able to get a full erection without pumping)

So you will get some blood flow, but not full expansion via arteries. Blood will come in, but expansion and filling of the penis will be done mechanically. I think the blood flow to your penis glans is unaffected by this surgery.

probably there is still some expansion of the corporal bodies but I would assume that due to them being obstructed and pushed aside by the implant with time the tissue will change and lose this ability. the other way i could imagine some form of erection with an implant is through the corpus spongiosum, a different erectile body that should not be affected by the implant at all

In my case, if aroused or sleeping I still get an erection, but not enough for penetration.  The blood flow to the glans is unaffected, and the corpora doesn't fill with blood as much as it can.  My wife always asks if I pumped up already when I haven't.  So in my case, I would say yes you still get some degree of erection without pumping, but like I said not enough for penetration

For sure. Is there risk of damage if you don't pump up.

Ex if girlfriend was giving me a bj could I start in inflated and jjsy pump up as she goes to make it more natural like? Or should you really be pumped before anything?

It does not matter.  If you can ride mountain bikes and kickbox with it deflated, then you can have any type of foreplay you want with it deflated.  My guess is you will not bother to do that more than once or twice.

What you outlined was never "natural" for me.  If my wife suggested she was in the mood, I literally had a full-blown erection before my pants hit the floor.

First. Good luck.

An implant is an amazing option when you are ready for it. I have had both titan and the 700 now. For a blowjob I just hit the button and lock in inflation mode and give pump or 2 to smooth cylinders out. I get plenty hard enough on my own still for me to enjoy it. Not enough for sex but hard enough to enjoy the blow job. She also enjoys it better when it is not so hard going down her throat.

For penetrative sex I just pump it up after the blow job. For us how hard I pump it up depends on our activity and positions we use.

But I still engorge on my own still. I also do not have to pump up if I just take care of my own needs. I think I got a bit lucky with that.
