Let me introduce myself and my condition

I am 67 and living in Perth Western Australia
I first noticed a slight upward bend in the end of my erect penis in around April 2021 but having no knowledge of Peyronies and the bend being minor I didn't bother to get a medical opinion.

Let me say at this point my age being 67 I am not aware of nocturnal erections and if i do have them or not. Due to Covid19 I have been separated from my girlfriend who is overseas and cannot return to Australia.

In September 2021 I awoke from sleep with an erection and putting my hand down there as most men would, I was very shocked to feel a very noticeable bend in my erection. This discovery quickly roused me from my slumber.
Since then I have managed to have several erections by looking at porn to investigate the bend while erect and to obtain a better understanding of what is happening.

I went to my doctor and told him my story and made an appointment to see a urologist in November.
My thoughts are to purchase the RestoreX device and start traction.
However I wonder if I should wait till after seeing the urologist or start traction as soon as possible ?

Attached is a rather bad photo illustrating my bend.

June 2021- observed curve
September - increased curve
October - confirmed Peyronies, refered onwards to Peyronies specialist Urologist - November
Meanwhile immediately commenced traction with RestoreX after initial  visit and confirmation

Welcome Jamesblue to the forum.  Thank you for filling out your signature line and telling us about your situation.  You should also download and read the survival guide if you haven't already.  It will give you more info regarding peyronies and it's different treatments/protocols etc... -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057

I would first say that you should be educating yourself on peyronies and start making out a list of questions for your upcoming appointment.  Hopefully the Dr can perform an ultrasound to get a better diagnosis of your condition.  I would say that if you are able to get an erection that you are probably also having them during the night. If it were me I would also ask the Dr to check your Free Testosterone level just to see if it is low.

You didn't mention if you have any pain?  Any with an erection or flaccid? A bend can indicate peyronies or an injury that is healing.  Do you feel any internal lumps/bumps ?  I would say you could try gentle traction and start with some of the supplements.  I would be more inquisitive as to getting a correct diagnosis and from a peyronies Dr if that is at all possible in Australia. You must also not let your mind take you down the worry path.  Place things into perspective and get a diagnosis and work out a game plan. Keep us posted  :)  Mikel7

thx you mikel7
I have read through the numerous posts dealing with penile curvature and symptoms and early treatments.
My conclusion was that no knife is ever going to touch my meat, therefore I am the one that must do something about my situation.
I do visit the urologist on the 4 of November for the medical evaluation of my condition which is prudent regardless of the opinion.
I decided that traction is my first option and ordered the RestoreX  which arrived this afternoon. I quickly opened the box and started my first 10 minute course.
It was a total breeze to use and very comfortable, although I understand it was only ten minutes initially as compared to the thirty eventually, I am very pleased.
So I will continue my treatment for the next few days before getting the Urologists report.
I feel no bumps in my penis as yet but do have slight pain with erections.
My thoughts are with the younger members here that suffer from this beast of a condition.

Same situation bro

I don't feel anything and I did 4  ultrasound and the results were fine

I have the same look to your peins maybe less than a few degrees of what you have.  I have this case from many years I smoke a lot I used my peins every day and the curve remain the same.. from my knowledge it's light injury but not it's not disses ..

I have seen many cases I can confirm you are fine ..

You are lucky that you don't have bend like 40 degrees or more or hourglass shape ..

I also ordered traction device.. and my goal to improve the curve to 15-10 degrees. I have seen many people reduced their curve from 90 to 15 ..Etc

My advice to you if you want strong erection just leave your peins and don't watch porn you will notice different in 60-90 days

Please update us because i have the same case of you

Do you notice any different in girth / length?

Good luck

Age 28
I have slight curve up/right 20/5 degrees
No pain
Erection is normal

Doing manual traction for a while

Orders PMP+Ved device

I went to 4 expert doctors and did 4 Doppler ( ultrasound) and the results were fine.
Still not sure what I have

Do you have any pain or discomfort with the curve? Ever since you saw the bend has it got any worse? My personal opinion if you are in stable stage with no pain and progression I would leave it alone. I know it's freaky and scary and not what you are used to. But it seems very very minimal. I feel with traction for something that minimal you are risking more damage. Just my 2 cents
34 yrs Old, Healthy very active
Possibly injured penis or took too much Cialis
Symptoms starting January-February 2021
First dent seen April 4, 2021, painful erections

Thanks to ALL who reply with a post. My intention and hope is that early  traction might possibly halt the progression of my curvature. That's why I was eager to commence.
I accept I may never see an improvement. However if curve is halted by traction or just stabilises naturally I am indebted to this group and forum for the wealth of experience and information offered.
I eagerly await the opinion of the Urologist on 4 November, however untill then I continue the initial RestoreX program.
Thanks again everyone.🦘👍

If it started in April it's highly unlikely to get much worse.. looks almost the same as mine except I go left. You're curve is minimal and your narrowing/bottleneck upper half (also like mine) looks  bothersome but manageable.. I chose to leave it be.. at this point you're prob in the clear approaching 6 months. If you can have intercourse I'd avoid playing with fire.
35 yrs old
Onset 05/01/20 diagnosed 05/14/20. Taking Pentox, trental, multivitamin, Zoloft & Tylenol
Traction was painful and made it worse
Lateral plaque by glands 20 degrees left/ narrowing
Lost about 2cm length

I would have thought 6 months is still well inside the acute stage
From my reading of published articles the acute stage cannot be considered finished.

I read the same but several urologists confirmed the changes and pain typically are 6 months or less. Yes they do wait a year for surgery just in case.. but if your pain is gone your changes should be gone.

Went to my initial Urologist appointment today and after describing symptoms and timeline and photos of my condition followed by a brief examination was declared a Peyronies patient.
I have now been referred onwards to a Urologist specialising in Peyronies.
So basically it's confirmed it's Peyronies and been moved on to the experts in the treatment for Peyronies in my State.
