I was very hopeful about using the VED but it just made sense to me, my main problem is not curvature which is very minimal and would in itself not bother me at all, it is the indentation and one sided hourglassing and loss of girth in that area that is extremely bothersome and gives me penis an instability but it also just feels overall much less enjoyable to use my dick. it made sense that the negative pressure of the vacuum pump pulls out the affectes tissue restoring girth.

based on Dr Trost however someone who has probably seen it all it does not work very well for this kind of deformity at all. nothing seems to. for curves there is injections, surgery, traction. what is there dor wasting and hour glassing? i cannot even get surgery because nobody would operate on me as theyd need to do a grafting surgery which is high risk low quality outcome.

has anyone seen any results with the ved? please tell me about it. I am particularly(only actually) interested in anecdotes on indentations and hourglass deformities. i am scared there is nothing i can do to imrpove this condition

Actually the only surgery that could help you is the implant

There is a member on this forum that he achieved to fix his hourglass and dents with manual traction, I don't know, I'm been doing traction and doesn't seem to work for me, maybe would work for you

I am in exactly the same boat as you. I also talked to Dr Trost and I agree with him. I honestly just tried ved and traction because what else can you do? but I truly believe at least for wasting and Hourglassing ved and traction will do nothing. I stopped completely I do not want to injury myself more or cause more damage. there's just now way that ved is causing enough stretch to do anything to ""pop" out an indentation or stretch out the hourglassing

    • Peyronie's Disease

Dr. Levine did a small study, years back, in which traction was reported to help hourglass deformity although I am not sure how strictly it was conducted or how objective it was.  Also, I think there is some success with the 3 cylinder VED from Agusta with hourglass deformity.

All of this however has NOTHING to do with Erectile Dysfunction ant this board is "VED's, Rings, Devices to Treat Erectile Dysfunction".  This post will be moved to the Peyronies Disease treatment area

I'm not sure what you mean by "wasting" - narrowing ?

I do know about a year or two back I had dents and hinges - using VED for 2-3 months definitely increased girth, Erectile Dysfunction and curvature. (Unfortunately I overpumped and damages further which set me back years.

Every case is individual and I just know a lot of users (including myself ) have found success from VED usage. Others prefer traction.

Hopefully that may give you some hope. I know how hard it can be thinking nothing will cure you.

Never give up!

Many urologist said to me, that only surgery could bring me my "old penis" back, but PTT reduced my curvature from ~45° to ~10° and the daily pain has gone.

Your problem with hourglassing and instability could be improved with traction, too. But you have to give it more than 1 try. Continuity and patience are very strong skills to fight against Peyronies Disease. In my case, VED was only a little extra, because I think, that traction with lower tension over a longer time combined with the natural cell renewal is the best treatment without higher risks.

Well, I just talked to an Urologist that told me that he recommended VED for fibrosis not traction, traction is recommended for a curve but not for fibrosis that causes hourglass/narrowing/dent. I don't have plaque. I have fibrosis and he told me that the VED won't get rid of the fibrosis but at least will keep the blood flow to maintain good erections, but he is against traction. Well, every Urologist think differently on what to do for our condition.
