Hello wanted to start off by saying I'm so appreciative of communities like this one out there. You make it possible for people to discuss their otherwise awkward or private issues on a public but anonymous forum.

So my story begins just last Friday. I was fooling around with this girl and I injured my penis or so I believe I did. And ever since then I noticed this discomfort on the right side of my penis like it's sore or something. I don't recall ever having this before but it's possible. Then I tried to feel it and found like A small pea sized lump on the right side near the tip of my penis that hurts if I push on it with some force. So obviously this freaked me out, and I took to the internet. I found about this thing called Peyronies. Then I got really scared probably what everyone else has gone through at some point if you are on here. So I just want to know if this is even for sure Peyronie's or not. I wanted to note there is no bending or curvature and no decrease in size yet. Any suggestions or advice on what I should do? I might go get a consultation from a specialist but if someone on here can suggest something that works then maybe I won't even go.

Thanks a lot.
Injured penis during sex, 1 week ago Sep 24 2021, and now feel small lump towards tip on right side of penis and slight pain when full erection occurs. Not diagnosed, just looking for advice and being super cautious. No bend, curve, or ED yet.

Welcome.

1) Is it Peyronies Disease? We just can't tell you for certain. A lump could be Peyronies Disease, but at the same time, it could also be localized trauma from the accident you had, that will heal normally. Peyronies Disease is an abnormal healing process that afflicts some men. Whether you are a man prone to Peyronies Disease, or simply a guy with some minor swelling/tissue damage that will heal normally, we just can't tell you. I'm sad to say, if you begin to see curvature when erect, or an indentation, then it's probably Peyronies Disease. However, if you don't, and the pain goes away, and the firm area softens or maybe even disappears, then you don't have Peyronies Disease.

2) If you're worried about it, see a Urologist and get a diagnosis. That's really advisable either way, and we will all hope you're in the "normal" category.

51 yrs. old, multiple auto-immune conditions. First episode of Peyronies Disease in 2002. Recurred a couple times since. Over the years I have tried Topical Verapamil, Iontophoresis, all the supps and Cialis + Pentoxifylline. Still functional, always worried.

PeachJames,

Welcome to the forum.  I am pretty confident you could not possibly have Peyronies Disease in a few days, even if it is destined to become Peyronies Disease.

If you have an injury of the penis, it responds like every other injury, It swells, it hurts, and if the tissue has somewhat significant damage, it scars to heal the wound.  None of that is Peyronies Disease.  That is normal healing.  Peyronies Disease is when the immune system does not stop at the borders of the injury but instead produces scar tissue that over-runs healthy non-damaged tissue.

I would give my penis total rest.  If it is less than three days old, I would apply some cold to the small spot a few times a day.  If it is older than that, consider applying very warm (not hot) heat source (hot water, infrared heat lamp, heating pad, or even a hand warmer)

You can probably take an NSAID like Advil if the injury is a few days or older.

It might take time, but I think there is a good chance this will heal and settle down.  In any case, you now know the risks. So treat your penis with some care and respect.

if you have no bending or Erectile Dysfunction just stop sex for a couple of weeks dont get caught up in doctors untill its a last resort. i would do the wait and see approach no need to start taking pills unless theres a real problem then you will be dealing with side effects.
