Hey,

I came across this study using hyperthermia (heat) to the plaques that had very successful outcomes.  Please click the link to the study to view outcomes in published Table forms which include successful change in curvature as well as diminished size of plaques.

I also found a website that sells a device almost identical to that used in the study.

I have not come across this here and wonder why, considering that the device used in the study is available  for purchase and almost identical.

Has anyone used this device?  Thoughts, experiences, comments are welcomed!  Thanks!

Androtherm Application for the Peyronie's Disease

QuoteThirty patients were studied: one of them was withdrawn; 5 patients have not completed the whole course of treatments; at present we have the final data of 22 Patients. The age distribution was shifted to elderly categories (between 65 and 70 years). The plaque size decreased, after the treatments, for about 50%; Table 1 shows the plaque size before and after Androtherm application.

Did you mean to post in another section of the forum?
I literally just posted almost the same thing you did in the alternative treatments section.

I also bought the uHeat and SR-cream... and funny thing is, that Brow guy hasn't logged on since. I guess he got a sucker out of me. I'll write my thoughts on it when I receive it in a couple weeks.
MIA - nothing works after 5 months
supplements and pharmaceuticals I've tried:
cialis, pentox, magnesium chloride, dim, turmeric, hyaluronic acid, vitamin k2, paba, l-arginine, l-citrulline. either get surgery (and possible ed), get implant, or pray

Oh shoot, yeah, I think I posted this in the wrong section by mistake.  Sorry Hawk!

What do you mean, "This brow guy"?  I am not familiar with him or the reference?

Thanks!

There's a guy named "Brow" who made an introductory thread recently. He was mentioning these products, so I bit the bullet and bought them. He hasn't posted since.

No, I didn't see the post but do not think it was a spam.  The device looks sound and is modelled after what was used in the study.

I too have used a heating pad since the start and don't think it has done much as I am at 9 months and still seem to be in the acute phase and progressing.

It has been a very slow and gradual progression and I have a minor dorsal curve but hinge/angle/elbow effect that makes my etection weak in that one spot where it begins to bend.

I think I will likely buy the device for $80 and use it as they did in the study.

The study indicated that a very specific constant temperature was effective with Peyronie's Disease, which is why they created the uHeat device which can be set to the exact study temperature of 40C.

With rice socks and heating pads, it's through clothing and not a constant temperature nor is it directly wrapped around your penis like the study and the uHeat device which was designed after the study device.

I mean, who knows, maybe the heat pad I have been using has lessened my progression but I also take 2g of l acetyl carnitine and there was a study basically saying the same as the heat study —that it reduced curvature and plaque size in the majority etc.

I hate all this crap but am willing to try the heat device.  At 40C, twice a week, it can't hurt.  I personally would not go any higher than what was used in the study.

Yeah those were my reasons for buying the device as well. The rice sock I use is too inconsistent, requires constant reheating, and it's sometimes heavy on the penis. I plan to use 40 degrees Celsius as well, I recall other members here saying that anything above that could be dangerous. I hope we both have better outcomes with this device.

I just found his post.

I can see why you found it a little suspect.  It is and it isn't imho.

He did say that the only legitimate product was the UHeat as it is modelled after what was used in the study etc.

The breeze thing for your balls and magnetic product seem like gimmicks to me but the Brow guy said the breeze product is not meant for Peyronie's.

The oil seems legit enough, if nothing more but to condition your skin but I don't think it can penetrate deep enough to have any kind of therapeutic effect on the plaques.  So I am passing on that.

I will just give the uHeat a try.

So odd because I was searching around online, found that androtherm study then was googling androtherm to see if the product was on the market and after much searching, came across uHeat as a result of a search with one of the studies.

I will order tomorrow and follow study directions, 40C twice a week for 5 weeks, then assess.

Yeah you're right, I'm probably being too paranoid lately.

I'm personally going to go with at least 5 times a week, at least an hour a day. I'll probably use it before VED, and perhaps try to simultaneously use it while I do traction with the PMP.
I wish you the best of luck.

Same to you.

Why not follow the trial results and use as a mono therapy twice weekly for 5 weeks as per the trial and then assess?  It's just that sometimes less is more, meaning less is better.

I think it was that guy neoV who said too much heat can actually be detrimental.

Then if you do not see any results after following the study protocol, try to experiment with other protocols and devices?  Just a suggestion is all!

You weren't being paranoid either, I do see how it can come across that way as he was talking about all of their products but could also just be a guy who is desperately throwing the kitchen sink at it.

Hard to say but like we said, the uHeat device is almost identical to that used in the trial and you can't do any damage at 40C twice a week (ie. burn your skin etc.).

Also, did they send you tracking by chance?

Thanks!

Thank you man. And I agree, less heat could be better. As of right now, I definitely don't want to do it as a mono therapy, since I'm trying to correct my hinge points/deformities with VED/traction at the moment.

And they did send me tracking, estimated arrival is between Oct 3 and Oct 17. It ships from Bulgaria.

And Hawk or any other admin/mods, if you see this, is it possible to move/merge this thread with the one I have in alternative treatments? Thank you 🙏

Oh okay, awesome.  Thanks.

I'll definitely order min sooner rather than later then.

Feel free to DM me and I will do the same once you get into it and have started therapy for a while with uHeat.

Here is hoping!
