Hyperthermia, plaque reduction, success stories?

For anyone using hyperthermia, whether it be a rice sock, hot baths, infrared heating pads, heat lamps, has it been successful for you? Can it really reduce plaque size? There are only two studies online, and they are from years ago. I feel that there's never really a large enough sample size for Peyronie's studies.

I've been using a rice sock for the past couple of weeks, but it gets annoying having to constantly reheat it. Lately I've been taking hot baths cause it gets the entire penis at an even temperature. I'm not sure where I was going with this, I guess I just need some more hope from members' anecdotal success stories. Thanks for reading/sharing.

I have been using an older Sunbeam heating pad that I monitor very closely with a digital thermometer.  I have had success with it lessening my pain levels and promoting quicker healing.

Has it helped with plaque size reduction at all? Have you noticed it help with remodeling? I use heat everyday, but I just don't see enough evidence besides these two studies. That hindawi link shows one person with an insane improvement in curvature from just hyperthermia mono therapy, but they use Androtherm, something we can't even buy. They also only did it two times a week, 30 minutes each time, which doesn't seem like much at all. I'm applying heat at least an hour every single day, and there's not even a slight hint of improvement, so I'm not sure what to think. For me personally, the plaque has gotten worse overall. I'm waiting on my infrared heating pad to arrive, maybe that will help more. Sorry for the rant, I'm just disappointed in my results so far.

For me when I was in the acute stage and the pain was very bad heat therapy proved to be a big relief.  It has shrunken the plaques only slightly.

I feel so desperate, I ended up getting the totalman and the uHeat. I'll give my opinion on both once I get them. Hopefully I can try to use either one simultaneously with the PMP for a synergistic effect.

I'm sure that it will provide constant monitored heat. You will find that it will give you more circulation and hopefully give you some improvement.

I think the Total Man sucks. The edges don't heat up, and you have to wrap it tight. It's not exactly comfortable, and there's no way wrapping it tight could be good for inflammation and scarring. I'll see how the uHeat is once I get it.

Quotethat Brow guy hasn't logged on since. I guess he got a sucker out of me. I'll write my thoughts on it when I receive it in a couple weeks.

I'm alive and kicking, man! Got my hands on a PS5 and have been going through TLOU2 and Ghost of Tsushima. TLOU2 is actually pretty good despite the mixed customer reviews. Last week I also started my Whirlwind Barb on Diablo 2 Resurrected. These are some real time consumers right there.

The post limit on my story seriously demoralized me. I spent hours writing the whole thing and only then saw that the introductory threads have a post limit. Guess I should've read the rules..

Anyhow, nothing out of the ordinary happening. I think I see some progress. My hard flaccid is less hard and less frequent by 20% or so. The other symptoms are a tad better. The whole process is so slow, tho, that it may still take a year or even two to be healed.

I will be logging in occasionally to post updates and share new methods I add. Thinking of adding a traction device in a few weeks.
Early 30s.
Plaque tissue mid-shaft.
Hourglass shape and 25 degree curve when semi-erect.
Varicose veins, loss of girth, weaker underside and glans.
Steady positive improvements with a few methods (hyperthermia and various oils).

Glad you're still around, thought you were a shill and just disappeared. Enjoy playing those games. I'll update once the uHeat comes... I'm not too optimistic though, given these studies are old as hell(2005, 2013) and no one bothered to even try to do more hyperthermia studies in almost a decade.

Yeah, I have to agree with that it's usually better to avoid being overly optimistic.

I believe that the hyperthermia thing is definitely helping but the whole process is taking longer than in those studies. Guys should really brace themselves and be ready to treat the thing for years, which won't happen if they expect unreasonably fast results and get demoralized because of the slower progress.

If you think about it, there is not one thing for Peyronie's that works right now with over 50% success rate or so. Even the most popular methods have at least as many guys who report that they didn't work for them.

So the best approach to maximize the success rate (in my mind, at least) would be to combine more methods. I wouldn't rely on a single thing as the probability of it not being effective enough would be high.

I've waited too long to even address the problem and during that time my Peyronie's didn't get better, not one bit. So I'm fairly certain that the things that I've done ever since I took it more seriously are the cause for the progress, albeit it's a lot of stuff and I keep adding more. Still, the fact that I started late makes me more patient and enthusiastic about minor improvements because anything is better than not going forward at all.

I forgot to mention another possible cause of my progress since the post limit in my original thread prevented me from adding it. I'll touch on it really briefly here. Note that it's just a speculation of sorts.

That's remaining steadfast and positive.

I've read that stress increases internal inflammation, which could very physically worsen Peyronie's Disease. It's hard to tell by how much, but keeping a positive outlook on things could help in the sense that it will not worsen the condition.

I agree, best to combine because no one really knows what works. I wish they did more studies with a larger sample size when it comes to this disease. There's just not enough solid evidence for anything maybe besides traction, and that also carries some risk.

I feel there was some luck in those hyperthermia studies, those guys in it seem to have insane results.

I've been sleeping naked with my heated blanket on. Didn't help me and me feel a little worse. The blanket has been on low heat and sometime medium heat. It might be that I have buck's fascia tear or injury and a hematoma, but I really don't know because the ultrasound didn't show anything. My next appointment is 2 months away.

Until there are repeated studies with a larger sample size, I will feel that nothing really helps. Hyperthermia certainly hasn't helped me. It sucks your next appointment is 2 months away, the waiting game is hell.
