A Warm Welcome to Dr. Trost
« on: September 10, 2021, 11:31:46 PM »

The PDS Forum is happy to welcome Dr. Landon Trost.  Dr. Trost is well known in the Peyronies Disease community.  He is also well known for his exceptional service work both in and outside of the medical community.

Dr. Trost has graciously agreed to donate some time weekly to answer questions for PDS members.  His board can be found right under the Treatment section of the forum in the Insight from Medical Professionals area.  Unlike most such "Ask the Doctor" areas on the interest that have to first be submitted to moderators for approval, we will initially set permissions for all regular members to directly ask questions.  Depending on how this format goes, we might limit questions to groups with a high post count or make other changes.

Critical info for posting in the Professionals
First look to see if Dr. Trost has already answered your question by looking through his other posts in that area.
Make sure your question is well thought through.  Do your best to make it clear by stripping out unnecessary or irrelevant information.
Be respectful and appreciative of Dr. Trost's service to you and other members and guests who read this forum
After Dr. Trost answers your question, limit follow-up to necessary points you need to fully understand the answer. (one or two follow-up posts per question should be sufficient)

Do NOT
Use this area to make statements or to editorialize on any topic
This is an area for questions NOT for debate.
It is NOT a member-to-member discussion board.  Do NOT make any posts to other members on this board.

Let me be PERFECTLY CLEAR !
This area is a phenomenal gift and resource.  We cannot afford to have it abused and have it deteriorate, or we risk losing the best thing on the internet for men with Peyronies Disease.
There will be absolutely ZERO tolerance for failure to follow the rules for posting in the Insight from Medical Professionals area of the forum.

The ONLY posts members can make in this section are to ask a concise question directly to Dr. Trost.  Other than concise questions from members to the doctor, only medical professionals can post in this area.

Members may NOT respond to other members in this area.  You have 35 other boards for member to member discussion.

If you are in doubt, ask forum staff BEFORE you post.

We STRICTLY enforced these rules. If you fail to follow these rules, we will swiftly issue sanctions.  Sanctions will include being barred from this area of the forum or a permanent ban from the forum.
