Is erosion more likely to occur with the number of revisions?

Are there any studies in complications for young patients with implants  as they grow older? Why is it usually advised against if you are a young patient?

I dont believe studies have been conducted in younger men who went on to have implants for 3 or 4 decades.

In younger men erosion is a concern with the 1 piece malleable implants. Plus if you get an implant at 26 you likely will be wanting an implant for atkeast 3 to 4 decades.... this means that you will go through multiple surgeries 4-6 Atleast in my opinion.  Each surgery carries risk if not done by an experienced surgeon. There was a study stating that each revision increases the chance of infection...although there is some debate about this by top specialists.

Moreover, with advancing science there could be new Erectile Dysfunction drugs nanocapsule based that are in the works that directly work in the penis avoiding you take them by mouth like viagra and causing side effects. They also will be much quicker to activate within 10- 15  minutes of taking it.

In general, if you find a way to have sex good enough even  with medicines , you should continue it till as long as it works. Even if you still end up getting an implant , it would have saved you 1 revision or so over the years.

On the other hand, if you genuinely are having s difficulti time with sex due to indentations, hinging, erections being weaker.... and have to struggle to have satisfactory sex every time then an implant will resolve most of your issues.

Thanks man - I'm seeing this as a more likely route I will take. My erections  been getting worse and even with cialis it can still take some considerable effort to become erect. Even when putting on a condom. Hence i have been skipping that part lol
