Hi all,

I spoke to a Peyronies Disease specialist yesterday who mentioned that Tadalafil should always be taken on an empty stomach. If not, you apparently risk losing up to 50% of the effect. He also said that most people are not aware of this. I certainly did not know this before, so I thought I would share the information.

Anyone else have any experiences of this, does it make sense?

In terms of dosage, he advised this:

Normal dose: 5mg/day in the evening
Max dose: 20mg/day, but not to be taken every day, just once in a while for extra effect.
Early 30s, diagnosed with Peyronies in 2017 after trauma during sex. ca 15 degrees upward curvature. Restorex, VED, 5mg Cialis, Pentox, L-arginine, Coq10, Propolis, Vitamin E. Underwent 12 rounds of Verapamil injections 2021-22

When I did take Cialis it was always before bed which was about 3 to 4 hours after dinner. The insert says it can be taken with or without food.  Viagra was the one to be taken on an empty stomach because of absorption issues with the fat content of your meal.

I've never heard of any doctor or urologist telling me that you lose 50% efficacy of cialis when taken with food. I've personally never felt that either, maybe it just slowed down how quick the effects would kick in but that's about it.
