A warning about (mis)using Penimaster Pro

I've had the PMP for over a year but only began using it in earnest recently. I prefer the elastic strap over the extender, as the latter becomes uncomfortable and is difficult to wear with normal clothing, but feel that the strap doesn't provide as much tension unless worn over the knee (which allows you to flex your leg as a way to increase and decrease tension dynamically). Today I probably overdid it though as I racked up the tension more than usual by extending my leg until the penis was quite stretched. When I removed the suction holder after about 1h as it was becoming slightly uncomfortable (I try to use the device for no more than 1h at a time or when it becomes uncomfortable) I had two large blisters on the glans, one of which had burst and there was a fair amount of bleeding. There isn't any real pain, mainly discomfort and the injury is clearly just superficial but the lesson I've learned is not to overdo the tension and check frequently to make sure you don't stretch the glans too much. I've been happy with PMP which I have found to be a lot more comfortable than other traction devices, so this isn't a critique of the device itself but rather a caution about using it correctly.
Diagnosed in 2019 initially ventral indentation, hourglassing w/ slight rightward curve
In 2020 developed dorsal curvature, ~70 deg
Tried traction (PMP), VED, heat, vitamin E, no change
Modified Nesbit surgery Dec 2022, <10 deg

You will have to wait until everything heals completely until using the device again. When I started using the PMP I also got 2 small sore areas on my glans but no blisters.  I started slowly about 1 hour a day with only the rods for traction.  I added on an hour each week until I worked up to 6 to 8 hours a day.  I can go 12 hours a day with it on now - I do usually take a break every 2 or 3 hours for 5 minutes at a time for circulation.  I do know with the strap that the tension is not always consistent.  Patience is the key.  I am approaching 10 months with the device now.
Lump 4/2020, age 62 , Dr Levine 6-26-20, Dors Curve 11/2020, Peyronies
Vit E400mg, COQ10, Heat Therapy, Penimaster, Pentox, Cialis, Restorex
SNHL 7/2020 - Stopped all Meds because ototoxicity  Heat/traction/VED are working. CPPS Diagnosis - Stable :)

Thanks - that's an impressive amount of time with the device! I can't really wear it much more than 2h without discomfort and the rods only work when sitting down, so I prefer the strap. Have you noticed any decrease in curvature? I have about 60 deg upward curvature so I don't have high expectations, but if I could get it down to 30 deg I would be able to avoid surgery which would be a major bonus. Not sure I can put in the required hours though.

I can personally say that it does work. My curvature was around 45 deg up and now it is slightly below a 30 deg.  This has been with daily consistent time though.  I did have times when I could only wear it for 2 to 3 hours a day.  For me it is the most comfortable lying down or semi reclined in a lazy-boy.  I had to train my thought patterns into a m a r a t h o n type of thinking on this.
