Had saline injected to check erection under anaesthesia, poor bandaging problems

Hellostranger

Hello, I had been suffering from congenital curvature and my urologist recommended an injection of saline under general anesthesia to check the shape under full erection.

Surgery went well, no complications, problem is in the 24 hours after surgery (they bandaged my penis with a roller bandage) until I removed the bandage the next morning I was told to, due to the way they bandaged it(I suspect it was too tight), it significantly affected my ability to urinate.

E.g. each toilet session I could feel the urine passing out but it was as if it was 50% blocked, and only a tiny stream came out. At the end of each session not all the urine would have came out, and clenching my pelvic floor muscles would also be very painful. In those 24 hours I had urine leakage as well.

It constantly felt like there was urine left in my penis/urethra in those 24 hours, and it was pretty painful, about a 7-8/10

All was well after removing the bandage, but now I am concerned in that 24 hour window given the severity of the pain, whether there could be possible permanent damage? Do plan to consult my urologist as well when I see him in a few weeks time.

In hindsight I should have just removed the bandage early but the nurses were telling me the urine blockage and pain were normal :(
Downward suspected congenital curvature. Had saline injection under general anesthesia, no plaque found on visual and physical injection.

Don't worry. Even after xiaflex injections when .y penis was wrapped tighkty sometimes in bandage for 24 hours... I had slow urine for a day then things went back to normal. No permanent damage unless it's tight enough that your glans is turned blue and cut the blood supply.

45-50 degree downward curve with an indentation on one side when erect.
Using RestoreX and Xiaflex injections
Taking coq10 with daily Cialis 5mg.

Thank you for the sharing, that is very reassuring. Even when it felt like there was still urine in your urethra and it kept leaking/ many pain when clenching pelvic floor muscles?

Not so much worried about blood flow but more of damage to urethra. Curious why the bandages are wrapped so tightly as well

Yeah... even I hated that bandage was very tight. It definitely made my urine leak for a day or two...
