So I got my first Doppler done, been having erection issues for 4 years now, and it came pretty normal. No damage to the nerves and blood vessels according to my Urologist, but he's not sure what is causing the hourglassing and ED, has anybody else got a doppler that came back normal but are still having issues, I'm unsure how to proceed from here on out?

Yes, I know many with normal doppler but either erection problems or curve/ hourglassing. Doppler doesn't catch all problems known to science. At the end of the day, you either get a satisfactory erection or you don't. If you don't then get it treated no matter what yout doppler says.

Using RestoreX and Xiaflex injections
Taking coq10 with daily Cialis 5mg.

Did you get injected with caverject and get the doppler with an erection? I got the ultrasound but no caverject and it showed everything normal too. I've read that caverject will have a higher chance of showing abnormalities compared to without.
MIA - nothing works after 5 months
supplements and pharmaceuticals I've tried:
cialis, pentox, magnesium chloride, dim, turmeric, hyaluronic acid, vitamin k2, paba, l-arginine, l-citrulline. either get surgery (and possible ed), get implant, or pray

@lostandsad
That is quite interesting. I never read anything like it and i am curious about it! People here mention penile pain with caverject, but never read about more stuff showing up in the ultrasound. Could you please share your sources?

@Thinker
Hey man.... it happened to several guys here. They have ultrasounds but their results are inconclusive and they are lost afterwards. You are not alone. What you should do in my opinion is schedule a free consultation with Dr. Landon Trost and see what he has to say about your case. He is one of the best when it comes to Peyronies and his track record speaks for himself.

He will be able to guide you on this for sure.

I thought it was well known that caverject and an erect penis yields better results for an ultrasound. I recall that there were a few members here who went to Dr. Levine getting caverject with an ultrasound for diagnosis.

"Doppler ultrasonography

If coevaluation of erectile function is indicated, examination must be performed after intracavernosal injection of vasoactive drugs."

And even my urologist told me that it would have a higher chance to identify abnormalities such as plaques, I just didn't feel like doing that right after the pain from a cystoscopy. The cialis I took the night before was still in my system, so I had priapism fears, as well as irrational fears of my penis exploding.

On my report it even says "less ideal with ultrasound without intracavernous injection will not assess his curvature that he reports with erections"
Although that's more about the curve, I did explain to him I had plaque and my shaft felt like stiff rubber bands, as well as some erectile dysfunction issues.

I have talked to Trost couple times. nice doctor and very helpful but he himself says there's not much you can do for Hourglassing. he doesn't believe in ved and traction is more for curvature then Hourglassing.

Sounds like OP has hard flaccid and not Peyronie's disease.

I had a Doppler a few weeks back and the Uro said it showed my erections were 'ok but not great'.

He sent me my results and it showed my PSV was 80-85cm/s and my EDV 0cm/s. Having researched what these actually mean, I believe these are normal and show a good amount of inflow with little to no outflow? Please do correct me if i am mistaken....

Does this mean that any ED issues i have are likely to be Psychological or does a doppler not pick up everything? I was probably about 50% erect at the time, can get solid NTE's but lose a solid erection once i know penetration is on the cards...

Going off topic slightly, but has anyone had Psychosexual counselling?

Thanks

One thing is very clear.  If you can maintain a waking erection from sexual fantasy, pornography, masturbation, or any other reason and lose it when you know penetration is "in the cards".  Then that is definitely psychologically induced ED.
