Hey everyone, I'm just curious to see if anyone was able to restore some or all of their erection rigidity after injury/Peyronies. How long did it take? What treatments did you use? My only complaint at this point is my loss of firmness.

Most people that have claim VED, traction, cialis/viagra, and sometimes injections. To my knowledge that's about it.

But people can and do improve their erections.
35 yo. 35 degree bend left. Major ED now because of hirudoud cream. Take the supps/meds in survival guide.

If you try some of the things  listed in the survival guide it can help you.  My firmness and rigidity has returned
after over a year and a 1/2 of peyronies for me. I have used traction and the supplements also.

Vit E400mg, COQ10, Heat Therapy, Penimaster, Pentox, Cialis, Restorex
SNHL 7/2020 - Stopped all Meds because ototoxicity  Heat/traction/VED are working. CPPS Diagnosis - Stable :)

Mikel7,

I have tried multiple things from the survival guide, one of them being VED. VED actually made my case much worse and led to even significantly increased ED. This has lasted since mid-March, and the only improvement I've seen with the other treatments listed in my introduction line is reduced pain. I would try traction, but because of my experience with VED I do not trust mechanical treatments anymore.

Mild traction should be given a try to see how you respond. Also have you tried heat therapy?

There is a difference between using a VED and continuing to get worse and a VED making you worse.  Peyronies Disease is a progressive condition.  A VED used properly with no over pumping and pain is the equivalent of an erection and does not make Peyronies Disease worse.  As far as traction goes, there are clinical studies.  Used as directed they improve deformity and size loss.

Mikel7,

I have tried a little heat therapy before, but not consistently. Perhaps I will try it out again and stick to it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hawk,

Thanks for the reply. The ED worsened on the left side of my member (along with further narrowing). The injury on the left side occurred in 2017, and the VED injury occurred this year, almost 4 years later. Unless I was in the acute phase for almost 4 years and it was just a coincidence that the ED worsened within a couple months of VED use, I suspect that it was pumping that worsened my case. I also considered that cialis may have worsened it too because I was waking up with moderately painful erections in the mornings that were delayed in going away. Ultimately, I am desperate to regain rigidity in my member, it's really starting to get to me because I'm only 27 and have been dealing with this since I was 22. I want my manhood back.

Ka1524:

There are plenty of treatment modalities that you can try that will definitely help out. Daily cialis 2.5 or 5mg with or without l-argigine just for starters. After that you can proceed to other things if you are not satisfied with the quality of your erection. You will have to come to terms that you can't cure nor "restore". But you can manage it.

If PDE5 inhibitors do not significantly help and you have had ED issues for 5 years then you are almost certainly on track for an early implant.  If you can be functional by other means I would delay it but that is difficult to manage for a single guy.  Having inadequate erections and potential flare-ups will only reduce your size over time and you will likely end up with a smaller implant.
