Hello, it's been awhile since I've been on here. Since my initial injury in 2016 I was in frequent pain with or without erections for many many months. As time went on the pain decreased but of course i am curved and still have the Peyronie's post sex pain. I've been mostly stable since then. I used a Ved and traction for awhile but probably not constitently enough. Now, today im showering and notice a lump nodule on the top of my shaft just below the head. No pain and no idea what caused it. Is this an early sign of another plaque? Im really worried because i can live with how i am but another indention or curve would be a disaster. What should i do to take quick action? That's why im here so quickly. I don't want to let it get out of hand like before. Thank you in advance
Peyronie's since 2016. Severe pain until 2017. Most subsided pain since then. Taking - vitamins, Cialis 10mg. Still suffering. Trying traction and VED but need to be consistent

I'm sorry, I know the fear that strikes when we find a new nodule, and the "worst case scenario" thinking that follows. The main thing to remember is that you've dealt with Peyronies Disease before and are still functional, and as you say, you can live with what you have now. Try not to assume the new nodule will be disastrous. Nodules are fibrosis - the body overreacting to some minor trauma - like if you had a paper cut on your finger, but instead of an hour's soreness and quick healing, it became inflamed for months and healed with a visible scar.

You know the basic Peyronies Disease treatments. I'm afraid there is no magic bullet for stopping the progression of a nodule, or a way to ensure it doesn't "get out of hand." You simply do what you think is best in terms of supplements, traction, VED, Pentox, whatever, and hope for the best. I have had nodules that lasted a year or more before ultimately fading away to where I can no longer feel them. It's possible this will happen, so try to keep a level head and don't give in to panic. I know this is hard, believe me.

Best of luck,

Since it is a new BB sized nodule do you think shockwave would break it up?

Sorry, I know nothing about shockwave therapy.

I think that shockwave is a waste of time and money. You said that in the past you tried VED and traction therapy but weren't consistent. I would give that a go again but try to be more dedicated and remember that this is a marathon which you probably know.  That seems to be a small size and maybe it will not progress.

Not sure what happened but I restarted taking cialis and tried to keep an erection for as long as possible without touching much, now it's like it disappeared? Crazy but im thankful
