What do you think this pain means?

Hi everyone,

A week ago, I had sex and I felt pain immediately after. It's not unusual for me: my penis sometimes feels sore after sex and the scar location (where the curvature begins) has always been sensitive and has also been painful after sex on several occasions. The dull pain usually lasts for a few days and then everything is back to "normal" again.

What worries me though is that, this time, the pain hasn't completely gone away and is worse than before.
It's especially noticeable after erections or when I wake up. It also seems that, if my penis has been still for a certain amount of time and I start to (gently) move it around, I get this sharp pain at the scar location (for less than a second). The more I move it, the less pain I feel.
Fortunately the pain is less present now than it was the day after having sex, but it's still there and I don't know what to do.

So far, my erections are not painful and the curvature doesn't seem to have changed. Traction with RestoreX doesn't hurt and feels the same.

Do you have any idea why I get this pain and what it could possibly mean?

Thanks for your help.

Hi

I think pain is the most understanding and disturbing symptom of this disease.

Pain is all time reminding you that you have peyronies, making you to think "hey man I'm here, you thought I was gone but no, I'm still here".

I've experienced many kinds of pain, sharp-dull, long time-short time, here-there, in the plaque-everywhere, in flaccid-in erection, doing just nothing, fasting-not fasting, eating carbs-not eating carbs, even biking...I just cannot control the pain.

If someone could guarantee you that your condition will not get worse even though you feel pain, then pain would be very easy to manage.

Agreed. I have dealt with Peyronies Disease three times previous to this over the past 20 years, but this flare is the first time I have pretty much a constant dull aching pain in the flaccid state. It's really unnerving and like a mild form of psychological torture, as you imagine that pain means the scar is active and possibly getting worse. There's no way to forget about it.

I wish I knew a way to turn it off, but I'm afraid no one really does.

51 yrs. old, multiple auto-immune conditions. First episode of Peyronies Disease in 2002. Recurred a couple times since. Over the years I have tried Topical Verapamil, Iontophoresis, all the supps and Cialis + Pentoxifylline. Still functional, always worried.

I can totally relate. Living with the pain is one thing, living with the fear of what it may or may not mean is another. Sometimes, I just want to go the implant route just so I don't have to deal with this anymore (not there yet though!).

Yeah. Pretty much the same problem here. I often check it out if my condition have worsened after feeling one of those sharp pains. Specially now when we are trying to get pregnant. We are having sex several times on the same week. Jeez, it hurts!!!

On thing that is really helping me is gentle hand traction. It acts as if it released the pressure over the inflamed area. Maybe it is something out of my mind, but it do helps.

I also like celebrex. It genuinely helps. But watch out! It raises insulin levels if taken for longer periods.  I hope it will stop after some time, but instead, the pain got only worse on the past couple of months. I might negotiate a break on the attempts, at least for a month or two.
41 yo, married. Onset on 07/20. Flare up on 07/21. Brand new flare up 01/23. Indentations and hourglass. It still hurts sometimes; No erectile dysfunction. Taking Pentox, Cialis, Supplements, trying diets, fasting, VED and manual traction.
God bless

I keep getting a sharp pain around a month after the scar appears when erect, this whilst doing daily traction with penimaster pro. So far the pain was a good sign. after 3-4 weeks of pain (and continued traction), the pain would subside and the curvature would slowly start improving.

i think it might indicate that there is an inflammatory process going on, and in my case it seems that traction is resolving that allowing the scar to stop progressing and start remodelling

Have you been diagnosed with Peyronies? Prostate issues can cause similar symptoms after sex/masturbation.
39 been noticing pain and curvature to the left and maybe a little upwards for around 6 months. Pain is most days now . Taking vitamin e and arginine daily.

Hi everyone,

I thought I would provide a quick update on my situation. The pain has finally subsided (for the most pain) and I have had sex without pain during and even after the intercourse. I didn't do anything differently except for doing one session of RestoreX instead of 2 for 2 days.

The curvature is the same and the strength of my erections remains unchanged. So there is hope.

Hang in there guys.
