In the end, I think I'm having an implant procedure done eventually. That's not I want to, but possilby the only chance to have intercourse in my life. I got to the point, which I do believe it cannot taken for granted, that I wanna have sex and I can't. I think this is a major stepforward, and I hope many other can experience it in here. Ok, I still have pain, I'm crooked..I can't say I'm done with them but for the first time in my life I'm craving for having sex more than anyhing else. You know how is it, it's kind of "I wish I had a different penis, I wish I had my measure back, I wish I was not crooked"...well, all of them legitimate, and all of them standing ahaed of "I wanna have sex". Now thing have overturned to me, and I wish I had sex desidre has overtaken them.

How many of you do know what I'm talking about?
31 yrs old
Severe congenital curvature. 3 straightening surgeries
Big lump/stitch w/ left deviation after 2012 surgery
Severe ED after last one in 2014. Still crooked
Slightly improved w/ shockwave therapy
Looks like only one side of my penis works

I get it. Psychologically, there are some hurdles to overcome with the implant, but at the same time, the potential psychological burdens it would relieve seem immense!  An on-demand erection that never fades, is resistant to anxiety, never changes or becomes deformed because of a cruel disease.

I see many, many benefits. Not least of which, the many accounts I've read of the men who were scared to death to get it, but in hindsight are having the time of their lives and know they made the right decision.

Really makes you think.

there is barely any person who talks highly about an implant and is satisfied that is born before 1980. really makes you think. if you have organic ED then it is probably the best solution although quite suboptimal and this is never stressed on this forum-

i do have the urge to have sex but i know it can never be satisfied. nobody in their right mind would do an implant on me and neither do i want a totally irreversible procedure done on my penis, never again natural erections, having this detached feeling from libido and erectile process, i dont think i could enjoy it. despite my penis is super short and narrowed and thus, a short penis with a pump is so embarassing, i could never even get into it anymore at all. if you have never had sex, not even talking about enjoyable sex, then you cant miss it. i dont because with this kind of penis it just cant feel good. i sure feel like i have been totally robbed of my sexuality because i have. but im trying to deal with it and getting irreversible medically unecesserary surgery at this age is not it

I understand but it's been almost 10 years with no proper erections for sex so what's the difference in the end? I hope you won't but you might never have good erections again so there is little choice. I've been walking the route of sexless life and despite many many things have changed for the better in the last two years I'm still unhappy most of the time. Well I'm not here to defend implants, at all, I don't like them. The point is that when you are 20 it's about missing out on having sex, which is huge; then it gets missing out on having a stable relationship and later it will be missing out on having a family. Can I say I'm tired?
If you hate your penis, right now, for what the disease did on it, ok, it's something else and I do agree getting an implant on something your mind is already pushing away might be enormous. From what you wrote it looks like you miss more your penis than having sex, which is super understandable, but again, is something else.

Again, I'm the last person rooting for implants.

and i understand your point as well. did you have the proper diagnostics done to asses that the ED is of organic nature? in my case the ED is manageable with pills bit i truly hate that. but again, nobody would ever do an implant. but the way my penis is shaped now it provides little joy and an implant is just replacing one depressing fact, the weaker erections and deformity sith another one being that it is an implant and i reject that idea completely especially at mid 20.  there us so many people here who act as if an implant is the savior of all but id rather have MY barely functioning dick than aj implant rn. and zhat doesnt mean that i enjoy or like it the way it is. just that an implamt wouldnt increase the overall wuality of life. its sad, that so many people just dont understand this on this forum. its not just about functionality at the end of the day.

I truly feel you should do whatever you can to resolve your situation. For porterrobinson it might be enough to get by with a semi working penis with deformity and that is totally fine. Porterrobinson, you mentioned you are barely functional and that is enough for you great ! Jack on the other hand is not even barely functional like he mentions and he is not happy. He has tried so many solutions including Viagra/cialis and still has a penis that doesn't work to his satisfaction and his erectile dysfunction is backed up by an ultrasound so we know it's really physical and not mental, implant is definitely an option you need to consider.  Everything in life has a right time, at the age of  30, you should be getting ready for "Prime Time".  As I said before, if you have tried all other solutions and they don't work, I see no reason why Jack wouldn't consider an implant. This will allow him to find a partner, start a family and he is at the perfect age to do that. You want him to waste his prime years, his 30s and wait till he is 40 or 50 only to recognize he could have gotten it earlier and he missed on a decade. As hawk mentioned, with an experienced surgeon most people regret not getting it done sooner. It all depends on surgeon skill though, so whatever you do Jack, please only consult a high volume world class surgeon.

Porterrobinson, it is about "functionality" at the end of the day... what are you even talking about. You think mentally it's easier to accept a semi working penis that will ensure you never have a wife or a family or a working penis even though it's an implant that allows you to have wife, children ? Answer me please.

That is a totally absurd statement.  It makes as much sense as saying you seldom hear men born after 1990 talking about how painful heart attacks are.  ???

The truth is you will find EXTREMELY few men born after 1980 with an implant who won't say it is great!  I challenge you to post a link to any young man with an implant who does NOT speak highly of it.

Someone who would choose a non-functional penis over an implant is either totally ignorant or troubled with mental issues.  It could be they are intellectually challenged and cannot figure out problems and solutions, or they could have some form of neurosis or psychosis that prevents them from coping with reality.

That's too extreme to me, Hawk. At the end of the day, every story is different.

What is too extreme??  Your post made no sense.  It didn't say anything.
