Venous leak from VED?

Dr Trost thinks VED might cause venous leak. I would like to try VED because I am not getting good NTE but him stating this (to me over the phone) naturally makes me want to stay away. But so many people on here use and seem to benefit.

Thoughts?

Hey buddy,

That is a really interesting insight. I have venous leak symptoms and my doctor (Dr Raheem, London) recommended Cialis and VED to help the penis heal from the injury that cause it 5 months ago.

Would be interesting to see what anyone else has to say about this.

Since then: torsion, curve at the base (30º sideways), mild ED (difficulty maintaining erection).
Dr Amr Raheem prescribed 2.5mg Cialis, VED, Shockwave.

Severe congenital curvature. 3 straightening surgeries
Big lump/stitch w/ left deviation after 2012 surgery
Severe ED after last one in 2014. Still crooked
Slightly improved w/ shockwave therapy
Looks like only one side of my penis works

Jack1909, what do you mean? Not sure I understood your point. Which doctor?

i think dr trost talks many things and never backs it up. for example he talked about how they have used xiaflex on congential curve with no source, how traction with restorex is so vastly superior but people here have not reported this at all. how would ved cause venous leak if you dont overpump? in my opinion he sounds like a quack

Dr. Trost is ANYTHING but a quack. He is a thinking, sharing individual committed to helping people.  He is extremely service-oriented and talks to many men who are not now and will never be his patients.  Because a doctor thinks something might have a result shows a doctor who is thinking.   A leading Peyronies Disease doctor told me that VED draws unoxygenated blood into the penis through the veins because the arteries are not dilated.  If that were true (and I have doubts), it means blood is drawn in backward against the venous valves.  That would have the potential to damage the valves, and it has nothing to do with how full you pump but rather the rate you pump and how forceful the blood flow into the penis is.

Without extensive studies, everyone can think what they think but there is no way to be certain of the answer.  It is a reason to pump VERY slow to obtain an erection.

I agree with Hawk. He has been very kind and attentive to me. I trust his experience and dedication. Peyronies is his main focus. Restorex has data to back it up.  He didn't say to me VED causes venous leak with certainty, he said it might.  So that's why I asked.

If it is helpful for guys and they've been safely doing it awhile with no ill effects then that's great and evidence that it won't cause the leak for everyone. I just want to be cautious.

Has anyone been doing VED a long time and seen nothing but improvement?

its just so confusing to me. my doctor said VED can basically not damage the penis and that venous leak IS A MYTH. i wanted to call hik ojt on it but hr cut me short. he said venous leak has never been proven in a scientific study. i told him about people at specialists actually getting diagnosed with venous leak and what the doppler US would be for if not for diagnosis of vascular ED. he did not answer these questions properly. i inquiried about veno occlusive disorder as opposite to venous leak vut again no coherent answer. this was just last week and it has been a frustrating experience for me. he suggested to just use the VED and cone bsck in 6 months even though i have seen zero progress with it over the kast 6 months. and now i am afraid of even using it. what hawk said makes total sense. my dr is a quack vut that is almost for certain

new deformity, new ED, 60 minute wait even tho i had an appointment and then 4 minute talk with the Dr and a 30 sec palpation, no US, no answering of my burning questions. if it wasnt the 4th one anyway id see a different doctor vut at this point there is just no point in mokey continent Europe

I'm not opposed to it and most guys seem to be doing it. I wouldn't mind rehabbing my penis with solid erections too.  I'd like to start but hearing that from him have me pause.

Maybe it is fine as long as one is very careful and conservative?
