Traction while being covid positive

Hi

I've just received the news that I'm covid positive.

I'm worried now because I've been doing traction these days, do you think I could have done some damage in the penis? I mean for example the tissue doesn't regenerate or something like that?

Do you have pain? Has the traction helped? Don't jump ship if the boat ain't sinking. Covid has attached to it the worry syndrome and yes it has proven to be lethal.  So peyronies also has the worry syndrome. Calm down and carefully examine your treatment protocol and the reassess the situation.

Mikel.... What exactly do you mean by the worry syndrome? i don't see why it would affect in any way traction, but i want to hear your thoughts on it.

What I mean by the "worry syndrome" is that men who start hyperfocusing on their penis with peyronies or an injury can go down the worry path.  This can lead to depression, bad thoughts, suicide etc... I did not imply that traction has a "worry" attached to it. That's what was meant by it.  I paint with a wide brush.

Just to leave things clear, you both say there should NOT be extra risks doing traction while you are covid positive, right?

My worry came as covid is said to provoque a general inflammatory state in the body, so perhaps doing traction while your body is inflamed is not good idea?
Although on the other hand, traction is recommended even in the acute phase where the tunica is still inflamed...

Traction can slow down peyronies in some individuals and prevent the scar formation from shortening the penis while it is healing up. So yes you could continue with gentle traction while you are in the acute stage. You should know if your situation is getting worse or staying the same or getting better after a little while. Hopefully you will not have any bad reactions from traction and you will not have any bad reactions from covid either.  The supplements that help reduce inflammation in your body for peyronies are only going to help you regarding covid also. Zinc is also something people with covid should be taking along with vitamin c and d. Hope this helps.
