Worth it to use Restorex in the 1st click counterbend?

In early June I had to take a break from Restorex because just using it in the second position on counter bending caused me a lot of pain, crazy inflammation for a couple weeks, and a small lump tgat thankfully never turned into a new dent or curve. I've been able to use it 15 minutes straight and 15 minutes counter bend in the first position 2x daily but I'm worried that I'll get months into this without any improvement because the counter bend isn't that intense. Has anyone used it and saw results in the first click counter bend position or am I wasting my time? I emailed Restorex and they said they just don't have the data on that right now and that most men can get to position 3 without pain.

If your curve is smooth all over like a gently curved banana then the first position and second are helpful. If however you have a an abrupt point of curvature at a focal point, then I believe most men saw improvements only after using 3 and 4 levels of counterbending according to Dr.Trost.

Not so much like a banana, it's straight then a dent, then curves.

Then you need to counterbend to 3 and 4 positions for best results provided your curve is in the middle. If curve is near base, position 1 and 2 will be good. That being said, if because of pain you are unable to do full counterbending, my advice would be to do the best you can. This means straight and position 1. Once pain subsides and in chronic phase, you can start full counterbending.

I have been using Restorex for 4 months now and am seeing some improvement.  I have the upward  banana thing going and had lost a lot of length while erect. My flaccid penis looks the same as it always did.  My erectile dysfunction is pretty much resolved but I'm still not as straight while erect.  At this point, it's sort of a "it just doesn't look like it did when I was younger" thing.

It takes a lot of patience and dedication. The tissues in my penis have stretched considerably as a result of daily use.  You have to give it time. As the tissues stretch out like any other muscles in the body, you may be able to get it curved to the three or four position. It took me a while to get there, but I'm there now.  I still have to shorten the lengthening bars in order to get the full curve, but even then, I am shortening it less and less.
55, married, diagnosed at 50, have tried Pentox and now using proextender.  30 degree curve upward about 1.5 inches from head...profound shortening.

yikes

Yeah the counter bending is much harder for me too. I'm tempted to just switch to all straight traction. I can do the 2nd click but anymore is too much. When I do the 3rd click (90°) the tension is basically as high as the device can possibly do. Even at the shortest the device can be. and im not really small or anything just average size.
annoying that the study doesn't specify what level of counterbending was used.

Followed the typical peyronies trajectory.
40 - 50 degree upward curve
Official diagnosis 2016
No treatments tried until now using restorex

GaussRifle mentioned that for bends that are near the base position 1 or 2 is good.  The J revision of the manual asks for 3-4 but I don't think I can make that happen.

Thoughts?

I think (I could be wrong) that Dr Trost stated somehwere that the 90 and 120 degree angle showed the best results.

GaussRifle;  My curve is within 1" of the base and I am just reaching the shortest penis length limit of being able to use the Restorex according to their directions.  I am curious if your quoted statement that a position 1 or 2 will be good for a near base bend point comes from PathRight Medical, Dr. Trost, or literature I have not seen.

I really would like this thing to work but am spooked by the possibility of doing damage by too much tension.

It is coming from the RestoreX customer representative. I called them in the number they provide and asked them. You can ask them too.

Thanks for the info.  I may be able to get to position 2 for 15 minutes but don't see 3 or 4 happening.

I had to pause treatment twice once for a couple of weeks and again for over a month due to testicular pain which I think was due to too high tension during treatments and don't want to go there again.

Mauleflyer, the testicular pain happens and is a rookie mistake if after wearing restore X you need to adjust the ligaments or the chords that descend your testicle. Feel free to move around so that the nerves are not getting pinched for the most part.

However, you do experience testicular pain initially and then your body adapts...
