Restorex injured my penis

Hi all,

I did my first sessions with Restorex last week.  I did the workout exactly as outlined for the first session (3 treatments for 10 minutes, each session I took a 30 minute break in between).  Thru the workout I didn't notice any issues or pain with my penis.  I did try to make sure that I was hiding the line on the Extension Rods as directed to ensure I was getting enough tension thru the sessions.

I put the Restorex away when finished and went to bed, and then later early morning about 2 am I went to use the bathroom and noticed prominent swelling on the left side of my shaft.  I iced it some that night and then settled on lightly wrapping my penis in gauze and went to bed about 3 or 4 am that morning.  I didn't really notice any pain just swelling.  This all happened last Tuesday night/Wednesday am early morning.

It's been about 5 days now since all of this.  No pain throughout and the swelling has gone down some but I don't think the swelling is in the skin, I think it's in my penis.  If I press on my flaccid penis where the swelling was/is it feels soft and like an indentation or crevice.  But looks-wise on my flaccid penis it does not look like an indentation but rather the opposite swelling and puffiness.  In the erect state everything fills up fine and no sign of indentation if I press on it nor is there any swelling or puffiness.

I'm going to give this more time to heal before I start my traction therapy again.  This time I've decided to put the Restorex aside and use the PMP instead as I think low tension may be the safer way to go for me.  I think the Restorex was/is too much tension and too fast for me.

Please be careful if you are getting into traction.  We don't want to hurt ourselves further and that appears to be what I did here.  There is an element of risk and my penis clearly wasn't ready for this device.  I think it can and has helped many men, but there are many men that it could harm like myself.

Large Indentation 3/16/20, lead to Penile Microfracture on 6/26/21.  Still suffering from large indentation, some wasting on other side of penis and large nodule when erect in center of penis (dorsal). Penis is straight & erections are good.

I still maintain that Restorex caused this injury to my penis.  I have something here that protrudes when flaccid but when erect no issues.  Dr. Levine said it is nothing to worry about that is is not progression of Peyronies and that this is most likely a Circumflex Vein that is pushing out right now and that it is a fairly common thing to happen apparently.  Not necessarily a common thing to happen with Restorex, but a common thing that happens from time to time for men where a Circumflex Vein bulges out.  It doesn't cause any pain but just looks a little weird.  I guess going thru Peyronies and having all these different injuries to penile tissue you become hyper-sensitive to any new developments in your penis.

Just thought I'd give an update on this thread.

Does the vein bulges out all time time or only when you're erect etc?

The vein only bulges out in flaccid state.  In erect state it is not noticeable.  Not painful in either state.

I do have a circumflex vein on my right side that can be quite prominent. As I'm in a Peyronies Disease flare right now, in the right corpora, the vein seems especially prominent at times, like a soft ridge or bulge.

So, it could very well be that Dr. Levine is exactly right, it's just a vein and nothing to worry about.

51 yrs. old, multiple auto-immune conditions. First episode of Peyronies Disease in 2002. Recurred a couple times since. Over the years I have tried Topical Verapamil, Iontophoresis, all the supps and Cialis + Pentoxifylline. Still functional, always worried.

Yeah, I've put my trust in Dr. Levine's diagnosis on this one.  It's something I don't stress about anymore.  Main thing is it is not causing any pain and it does not present any issues in the erect state.  But thought I'd follow up on this thread for the forum.

Cdub.... most of the people with peyronies has that bulging vein you are talking about. I noticed one before starting traction with Restore X, it 9nly became more prominent with Restore X, but that in itself cannot be classified as an injury if you know what I mean

Yup, Levine told me the same - so many of his Peyronies Disease patients have bulging circumflex veins. I thought for sure it was one big, half-ring of plaque before going to him. It's just a vein. Mine is visible while flaccid as well and goes away while erect (my erections pushes out the other tissue so its on level with the bulging vein).
26 years old. 20 degree upward curve with slight clockwise twist. Symptoms onset Dec 20.
Dr. Levine says it's not Peyronie's Disease but a slow healing wound. Saw him Mar 21 and May 21.
Traction (PMP) and supplements per Dr. Levine's recommendation.

we would have to do a survey to see how many have been damaged by traction and how many improved.
my case is ambiguous, with manual traction, I improved pelvic floor symptoms, a curve had also improved a little, but my glans hardened, making orgasm worse.
more research is unfortunately lacking.
32 years,injured at 25.
Slight curve, narrowing and retraction in flaccid and semi-erect.
Loss of sensitivity due to peyronie and circumcision  moderate erectile dysfunction, pain.
I improved the pelvic floor with kinesiology.
Frequent urination.
