Does bottleneck mean I have a band of scar tissue?

It is always painful after sex, masturbation in what feels like a ring around the glans. Ultrasound didn't show this but could this be the cause? Is this the usual reason?

Can't see the bottleneck as much when fully hard.

I myself am curious about this question....I cannot feel a ring of scar though.

no it can be a small plaque bit what you have to understand is that there are longitudinal and circumferential connective tissue fibres in the tunica. supposedly if there is scarring and plaque on the circumferential one, you get more like an indentation and an hourglass that a curve. with longitudinal its the opposite. plaques are rarely not dorsal or ventral, lateral is quite rare

Ok.. So a bottleneck doesn't mean the ring is all the way around, it is just on this circumferential stand of the tunica?

Are these treatments just like a mid shaft longitudinal plaque? Like would xiaflex be able to break the plaque causing the bottleneck and then it will fill back in properly?

Xiaflex can help with bottleneck deformity although it is a dice throw. It is purely luck.. After my first cycle,  my indentation was reduced markedly. After second injection, indentation seems to be back. Now will try round 3 and 4 again on indentation to try to get permanent improvement.
