I am using a phallosan type attachment and I have noticed it being next to impossible to remain flaccid.
Regardless of whether I do traction for a few minutes or an hour, I will end up getting an erection.
While the attachment/head of my penis will remain narrow from the pressure of the device, the rest will start to engorge looking like a reverse baseball bat.

I can't imagine this is safe for the penis.

I'm conflicted whether I should lower my cialis dose from 5 mg , even tho I think it's important for my penis to be getting good blood flow.
That as well as doing traction later in the day when my erections are weaker.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how they ended up dealing with it.

No, this is definitely not safe for the penis. Traction should always be done while flaccid. And that was and still is a major factor why I ended up not being able to do traction at all... anyway, some ideas that might help you, but do at your own risk:

1. Masturbate before doing traction. If you're using restoreX for example, traction sessions aren't that long. Having masturbated might give you enough time to perform a session while flaccid, because it should be harder to get an erection.

2. Maybe use something to numb the glans. Like some condoms use for you to last longer. But be careful with this...

3. Do it at night, shortly before you take cialis. Then the dose from the day before should affect you the least i.e. the least amount of cialis is in your system.

4. Find moments when your less easily aroused. Maybe after doings sports? when you're exhausted?

But yeah, I myself haven't found a way that works either... it sucks. Good luck.
- mid 20s
- bend started November 2020
- acute phase? Some pain, not much, but bend to the left 30 to 40 degrees and left side starting to shrink
- not doing traction yet, planning on trying restoreX

I do remember when I first started to do traction with restorex that I had that problem. It really was just a matter of time to get used to it and not get chubbed.  Also, getting into your device as quickly and safely as possible is the key to prevent chubbage.
