Hello,

I injured my penis playing football 7 years ago as a teen, and was left with terrible scarring, an indentation, twisting, constant dull ache, and mild curvature.

In the last 2 or 3 months I have made a 95% recovery by doing the following:

-Taking pentoxyfiline 2-3 times daily
-moloxicam daily
-cialis daily
-compounded verapamil ointment daily
*****I massage the verapamil into the scar tissue with my fingertip, up and down, several times a day, breaking up the scar tissue, and forcing blood and nutrients into the damaged area
-cbd daily
-Turmeric/curcumin
-daily vigorous excercise
-0 nicotine or vasoconstrictors
-no masturbating or porn, but I have sex or get head every day
-I do reverse kegels daily, really engorging my penis with blood, be careful with your pc muscles
-occasional manual traction

Good luck to you all! This disease sucks.

So you suffered from a serious case of Peyronies Disease for 7 years and never had the motivation or extended the effort to find or register on the forum?  It was only after all is well, and you were "cured" that you were motivated to search us out and tell us?  I have to commend you.  That is truly an incredible story of selfless devotion to helping others.

Almost as incredible is that you credit topical Verapamil (TV) that has been proven not to make it into the tunica tissue by actual biopsy samples of patients who used it prior to surgery.  TV has been long established as not only ineffective but also a very expensive treatment making in one of the the biggest scams directed at Peyronies Disease patients.

I found your language describing exactly what was going on inside of your penis very interesting:" breaking up the scar tissue, and forcing blood and nutrients into the damaged area"  Was that determined through ultrasound, biopsi, mri or some other form of imaging or is that just your way of telling us what you imagined was happening when you massaged your penis with TV?

Hey guys! Wow y'all are intense. I was on this forum years ago under the username "Jjreal." I've been taking pentox for probably 6 years, and taking Advil. I believe the massage does more than anything. Oh and I waste the hell out of the verapamil, i don't care lol. I've never had an ultrasound, I barely have any time to see the uro because of my career. Try the massage

Sometimes I feel little sharp pains when I massage the scar. If I over do it I experience soreness that mimics the flaccid pain I had during the acute phase. You don't need to apply much pressure. Just get the hardened tissue moving so that blood and whatever medication makes it's way in there. Mh scar has changed over time. For a long time, I had a very firm flaccid, then I thought I had a "worm or cord" that I now realize is a vein and am careful around. I guess the tissue feels more "dense" where I believe the scar to be.

When you say you "wasted the hell" out of Verapamil topical, how many months did you actually use it for?

For me I'm worried touching/massaging the scar can make it worse. You say you had this for 7 years, this means that the plaque has already possibly matured/calcified.
However what you are saying is that mainly through rubbing topical verapamil you were able to cure yourself in this advanced stage.

Do you have any before/after pictures of your tool by chance?

I'm wondering if it's worth a shot to get prescribed topical verapamil however I'm not sure if a doctor would do such a thing for me.

I don't have before pictures. Sorry fellas. But im built like a can of shaving cream so the deformity never really bothered me. My issue has always been pain, which has never gone away. I believe the massage technique is best for older, hardened scar tissue. If you are in the acute phase you need to do everything you can to stop the inflammation ASAP. If it were me, this would mean copious amounts of ibuprofen, dietary changes, cannabis, as well as things to prevent tissue hardening such as Pentox and verapimil. Everyone injures there penis here and there, hell I almost cracked mine off my hoes pelvis the other night, we are just unfortunate to have such strong inflammatory responses to soft tissue injury. Read up and stop the inflammation as soon as possible to reduce the amount of scarring.

Why do you believe that?  Is it a belief or something you think based on some significant evidence?

What about the clinical studies showing that NSAIDs inhibit healing?

Are there any Peyronies Disease doctors who recommend Cannabis or any clinical studies that show it is beneficial or even safe for Peyronies Disease?

Hawk,

Do you believe an NSAID like voltaren gel in the acute phase can inhibit healing?

I had no idea about this, you should sticky that. I see alot of people advising for voltaren and I even tried it myself because of this.

Do you know if this also applies to hirudroid

I just want to emphasise that there is no scientific evidence that topical Verapamil has any effect on treating Peyronies Disease. If you for example look here (https://uroweb.org/guideline/sexual-and-reproductive-health/#8), you can see that it is not a recommended treatment in Europe at least. It is, as far as I have seen, an expensive treatment that will do little if anything to cure your Peyronies Disease.

Of course, feel free to try it. But this is one of the few posts on this forum that talks about any substantial positive effect of topical Verapamil. I think you can get a prescription online and order it online too.
